I had a Lemonheads mix that was my go-to.

I love fairy tale adaptations. Throwing in an anime called Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade as a subversion of Little Red Riding Hood.

28 Days Later solidified that song as a guaranteed listen for an entire summer.

Sumday wound up being my favorite record from them. Worth going back and listening to.

What up, fellow flopper.

I've been cultivating a whiskey collection over the last few years. I was lucky enough to lay hands on Pappy 10, 12, and 20 year bottles. Still, when it comes to just sipping something while watching TV my preference is for Angel's Envy or Evan Williams Single Barrel.

YES to the Paprika soundtrack - great song to wake up to. Back in college I made my then-girlfriend (now wife) a mix album and kicked it off with Meditational Field. It's such a joyous composition. Glad to see Kon's influence still going.

Welp, this will be my sixth streaming TV service (including Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Amazon, and HBO Go). Remember when cable was cheaper?

Ooooh I didn't think of soy sauce. I've got some dashi seasoning - they may have to go in as well.

Sardines. Sometimes with cottage cheese and sriracha, sometimes just mashed with black pepper. I've been asked to leave the room multiple times by friends and family while eating them, so now I just sequester myself to a private location.

My friends and I were flexing with Gaston. He told me to put my arms behind my back. Then he stood behind me and held up his biceps so it looks like his arms are my arms. Very, very Gaston.

My friends and I are fascinated by Gaston. We go to Disney annually and do the meet-and-greet at his tavern every time. We use the phrase "YOGO" (or "You only Gaston once"). The idea is that after you Gaston once, you're pretty much headed to jail.

I really enjoy this band. It's loud-ass, exciting music from people who genuinely love music.

Finally got to play Black Hole last year. Damn is that board difficult.

TROLLS!

James Rolfe (AKA the Angry Video Game Nerd) lovingly crafted his top 10 Jackie Chan stunts. Makes for a pretty interesting watch! http://cinemassacre.com/200…

One of my favorite movie soundtracks easily. My brother and I grew up on the movie and the soundtrack (on cassette tape) and it's a weirdly powerful cultural touchstone. We just saw The Cure in concert a few weeks ago and almost lost our minds when they played Burn.

Glad I checked the comments - I was about to say the exact same thing. I think I listened to that album three times this weekend, ha ha.
