I love Warwick Davis. He was my favorite part of Deathly Hallows as Griphook. That's all. I just super love Warwick Davis.

I've enjoyed everything Ellis has done, even Glamorama. Hell, I think Lunar Park is one of the best horror books I've read in years. But you're right in that RoA and AP get you lifetime passes.

The Belushi GPS killed me. "You are two miles from sausage."

@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus most definitely. I've added Cracker Barrel to the queue of places I won't go any more. But if Bojangle's joins the racist/homophobic asshole company list I am probably going to have an emotional meltdown.

I posted a joke about eating at Cracker Barrel on FB and someone immediately fired back on the whole homophobic thing. I had no idea until afterwards. It's aggravating having to decide where you'll eat based on each restaurant's shitty political stance.

I had the same Cracker Barrel experience - everyone was overwhelmingly friendly. It was a bit strange to see the manager walking around with Mr. Rogers-type clothes and a wireless headset, though. He looked like a really poorly disguised FBI agent.

In no particular order:

The first time I heard Cannibal Ox was when my friends and I all took mushrooms and sat in a field with a boombox. That was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Substance D from A Scanner Darkly looks interesting.

You really know how to jimmy a guy's chicken shack, pal.

I want to see this so badly. It drives me crazy that he has no plans to release it.

Shameless plug time: My friends and I have a beer pairing dinner where our beer is being featured at a restaurant outside of DC called Quench this Sunday. 5 courses, 5 beers. If you live in the area and are interested, here's the link: http://events.r20.constantc…

Got a bottle of 10 in Scotland last fall and a bottle of 20 earlier this year. I'm in love with the 20 and can't compel myself to open the 10. The cost on the Royal Mile was just too damn high.

Every time I hear Postal Service I think about my ex who introduced me to them way back when they came out and my horrible sadness when she dumped my ass. So I guess I hear the desired effect!

@avclub-8611a4c6101b756242a6ce9e2e846fb6:disqus Those are my all-time top two celebrity crushes and it makes me sad it probably won't happen.

I spent a good deal of time this weekend playing Ni No Kuni. I love the standard JRPG elements and the battle action. I kept thinking that this is what newer Pokemon should play like - an immersive world where your creatures can run around and interact during a battle.

Young Team has a great opening. My vote would be for Mogwai's Mr. Beast. The build of Auto Rock and the crushing wall of noise of Glasgow Mega Snake are incredible together.

Pretty damned excited for FR right now. They've really grown over the last few records.

I got myself a Teodor apron ages ago that I wear while I BBQ. My prized possession is the 1978 Volvo GLE OF DESPAIR shirt.

It might've been the Irish whisky in my Coke at the theater, but I enjoyed H&G for the crapfest that it was. My favorite moment: Hansel evidently got diabetes from eating the witch's candy house and has to inject himself in the leg with an insulin shot during the climactic fight scene which gives him super strength.
