Let's pray it wasn't Uwe Boll undercover.

For a film with such a prolonged post-production process it ended up being awkward and disjointed, as if it were still at test screening phase. It's a shame because Bier, the cast and the source material should've made at least a good film, instead of just a clumsy, watchable one.

Smarmy is the word.

The predictions 'gag' was seriously embarrassing and it felt like it went on forever. And whomever thought it was a good idea to place it at that moment in the telecast where everyone just wants to know what wins Best Picture so they can go on with their lives should be banned from working again. And the balls joke

Just like it did with Neil Patrick Harris, the Academy will get a hologram host once every other awards show has done it and most people are getting sick of them.

This year was an exception. Ever since the Best Picture expanded field we've regularly had a mixture of art-house fare and crowd-pleasers. Just last year there were four films nominated which had grossed over $100 million (Captain Phillips, The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle and Gravity)

Only two years until Justin Timberlake gets to pay Doctor Dolittle a much-deserved homage!

Vilanch hasn't contributed to a show since 2010. As you can see the quality hasn't suffered a bit.

You forgot to write shirtless before Chris Pratt.

I do hope they fire Zadan and Meron so their Reign of Pointless Musical Tributes Terror can finally come to an end.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I should've said that it bothers me a little when people (and in my personal experience, those people have all been from the US) point out that Spaniards say "th instead of s" as if that was unusual or wrong when that is the proper way to pronounce it for us.

Yes, there was a short-lived version in Spain in which they just translated and awkwardly attempted to adapt the American sketches. It aired on Thursdays and then was moved to Wednesdays. They also dropped the musical guest after the first few shows. Nedless to say it was really terrible.

I could see Noël Wells playing the role Dakota Johnson played in that interns sketch. Johnson even resembled her! I still hate Noël wasn't given a proper chance.

I love how everyone says SNL has gone soft and whenever they do something slightly edgy most people go "OMFG they crossed the line!!!1!". See also: Leslie Jones' slavery bit last season, Bill Hader's charity commercial earlier this season.

Marry me.

Viola Davis, pretty please.

Part of my undying love for Natasha Lyonne comes from that movie.

I'm sorry. Then we'll just have to agree to disagree. I also think it's disingenuous to automatically assume she doesn't want the same for women of color because she didn't mention them specifically. Maybe her nerves got the best of her and forgot to be more inclusive or maybe she just doesn't care. We'll never know.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw was wonderful in both Belle and
Beyond the Lights but the films were too small to
even have a proper Oscar campaign.

Gay people and people of color are two of the most, if not the most, visible groups who have fought and keep on fighting to achieve their full civil rights. I believe she meant it's time for everyone who's faced oppression to join in the fight for equal pay for all women, as it affects individuals in all walks of life
