Man, Nasim Pedrad must be strapped for cash to be willing to endure another year of invisibility. Lorne, get her a part on another NBC show or something.

So am I! Poor girl can't catch a break. First The John Mulaney Show doesn't get picked up and now this! However, she being the most experienced female castmember could work in her advantage. Fuck that, they'll probably use Vanessa Bayer for everything.
Nasim Pedrad must be pissed off.
Yes, it only took her six episodes to be moved up to regular cast member. I thought McKinnon would follow a similar path given how strongly she started the season but hopefully she'll be promoted next season.
I thought it was endearing how a seasoned comedian like Vaughn seemed to get increasingly uncomfortable whenever a joke didn't land.
I was expecting this to be an outright disaster but it wasn't that bad. Also, both Aidy Bryant and Nasim Pedrad had a pretty good week. I never thought I'd be able to say that.
Kenan might finally leave if his Lorne-produced sitcom gets a full season order.

Yeah, I kept thinking about how Kristen Wiig was
disliked by many for relying on recurring sketches but she's starting to
look as the queen of moderation in comparison with the obsession with
The Californians.

If they keep going at this rate, The Californians will make another appearance in the first show of 2013. It's hard to believe we've already seen it four times when it only premiered ELEVEN episodes ago. I generally like it but I think they should be done with it for the season (we'll probably see it return a couple…

I wasn't trying to nitpick. I'm not familiar with what Americans consider a "TV hour". I've always gone by actual show time since I watch most stuff online or DVR and skip commercials, hence my confusion with the whole "it should be a 60-minute show".

If you don't count commercial breaks and the musical act it's actually a little less than an hour long.

I'd rather see Moynihan in drag than Aidy Bryant playing "loudmouth large woman" over and over again.

I'm glad they allowed Aidy Bryant out of her cage for a week. I was genuinely happy she got to do the "Live from New York" bit for what it's likely the first and last time.
