Yeah, back when she was announced as a new featured player I saw some of her stuff and it was good. I know she won't be playing "Hot girl passing by" in any sketches but there are many other roles she could play. It's sad that her strongest episode was last week's when she got to play bit parts in two sketches.

I'm worried she may be quietly fired after Christmas if she doesn't get in more sketches.

On the one hand, I feel sorry Vanessa Bayer had to endure a second week of next-to-no screentime after being everywhere last year when she wasn't yet a repertory player.

Yeah, my boyfriend pointed out the Wiig-isms in her performance as a compliment. Say what you will about Wiig's dominance and recurring characters, but damn if that woman didn't commit herself to every single sketch.

I thought Applegate was a very good host and she clearly gave her all and loved every minute of it.

I don't get the whole "heavy girls don't get a lot of stuff written for them" thing. I do understand where you're coming from but can't she play the same roles the other women play? Can't they let her contribute to her sketches if they don't know what to write for her? It must be supremely frustrating to be hired and

I'm Spanish and I don't think Kate McKinnon's Cecilia Giménez had a particularly embarrassing accent. It was more "crazy old lady gibberish" than "hackneyed Latina" if you ask me. At least the accent was a little more accurate than when she played Penélope Cruz (and the bit was really funny too).

Aidy Bryant must be over the moon because they allowed her to have two speaking parts on a single show.

"She was hiding inside me / and now she's outside me" and JGL's enthusiasm certainly elevated the sketch.

Good episode, although JGL could've been more prominently featured in some sketches (he would've been a blast as the hypnotee, as great as Killam was)
