I don’t think anyone is discrediting his service. They’re critical of the fact he embellished/lied about what he did while serving.  There’s a difference.

ICE was INS before it became ICE. Saying we’ve only had immigration officials for 20 years is bullshit.

I think it comes down to whether you want someone that can actually be a part of a coalition and get even 5% of what you’ve promised accomplished or whether you are a party of one that no one will help and you end up accomplishing nothing.
