I wouldn’t have known who Maïwenn was until the other day’s article about The Professional, and how she became Luc Besson’s teenaged bride. This whole thing just sounds like a whole bunch of ‘nope’.

It 100% was, and Leon’s reaction to her behavior made it clear he was highly uncomfortable as well. Wasn’t that a theme of the movie?? No need to see it that way through “today’s eyes.”’

Even Leon character finds it cringey, and that’s what saved it for me. He very specifically makes sure it never goes beyond platonic because he knows it’s wrong. Which is more than can be said for the director, a fact I only learned much later in life.

A better question is why do content warnings upset you people so much? If it doesn’t affect you then you can ignore it. Is it causing you some sort of distress? Are you triggered by content warnings? Do you need content warning warnings?

I didn’t really like the set up for the QF or the elimination this episode, especially the QF. One hour to do all those tea trays by yourself is crazy. Puss in Boots TLW was ridiculously good. The whole time I was like, why is this so much better than it has any right to be? 

This review sounds pretty underwhelmed for what turned out to be a B score. I was holding out hope for it being unexpectedly really good, but I guess I’m chasing the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish dragon.
