Listen, it’s silly to litigate all of this because even if asked for consent (which, as I understand it, he did - but please let me know if I have that detail wrong) it’s still a terrible, terrible position to put someone in. 

There was a vast republican controversy trying to take her down.  But doesn’t she mean she’s innocent of what they accuse her off.
