WOW, yeah I hadn’t checked it on CP’s site yet and that’s a big difference! It miiiight still be wearable for me, but I’m very fair and pink, so brownish stuff often looks EVEN BROWNER.

I haven’t tried their sponges (not a thing I use) tho I do have two eye brushes — they’re flatter/denser than expected, but pretty nice! But honestly, I’ve got two of their baked eyeshadows and wear them ALL. THE. TIME. The pressed ones are great too! And the liquid lipsticks have kind of a weird fruity-candy smell

I haven’t looked up a ton of swatch pics, but just going by Temptalia’s photos it looked pretty much like something I’d wear? Her lipstick swatch photos do, in my experience, tend to show stuff as being slightly lighter and warmer-toned than they actually are (based on numerous lipsticks from numerous brands I’ve seen

Thanks for that! I guess I’ll have to toss “27" in my bag next time I order from them! (The shopping list is LONG.) (Lonnnnnnnnng.)

I can’t say enough good things about azelaic acid! Cuts down [pore-clogging] keratin production, has anti-inflammatory effects, and fights acne bacteria — and unlike retinoids, it won’t increase your UV-sensitivity. The catch is that you need a 15-20% azelaic cream, which is hard to come by. Gigi’s 15% azelaic cream

Quite a few of those colors looked appealing to me, and I like the packaging (little stars!) — and was so disappointed to hear they were vanilla-scented. :( That is my least fave, boooo. (I might get one anyway, tho.)

<3! MAKEUP JUNKIES UNITE.

I can see panicking because you didn’t get the other person anything and then acting like it’s no big deal ... IF YOU ARE A CHILD. Because that would be a CHILDISH thing to do. But I’m guessing he’s at least mid-20s, and that’s damn well sufficiently old and experienced to be able to forestall one’s panic long enough

I’ll tell you probably the same thing ten other people will : COLOURPOP. Dependably solid-performing products, FAB price points (shadows are $4-5 each, lipsticks in various formulations are $6 or so).

That sounds like somebody who’s insecure in himself and in the relationship (which I empathize with to a degree) but who’s ALSO very bad at communicating because he immediately feels threatened and then lashes out. If it were me (which it isn’t! you do you!), I would give it a last-ditch effort by very gently and

Oh girl, I am sorry. :( That is BAD BOYFRIENDING. I mean it would be fine if he had A Thing against Valentine’s Day (like whatever, but okay) and used his words, like a grown-up, to say something to that effect in advance? But to 1) pretend like he didn’t think you’d have any kind of expectation that the day even be

Grope Chicks.

That dude is just SO punchable. :|

Ditto. I think they should’ve worked through / transitioned away from the whole “FAKE ATTY!” thing way sooner — I got pretty tired of it. I’ll still watch it, I just play online bridge or kakuro during the Mike scenes. :\

SHIT YES.

Suits is actually worth watching because GINA TORRES. Also Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman are pretty delightful. The young lead dude is store-brand vanilla extract, tho.

My fave was when he and Gary Cole (it was like a mini West Wing reunion!) get hammered and a couple of uniform cops approach them. “I GOT THE RAHT TO REMAIN SAHLENT.”

That show was TRAGICALLY underrated and TRAGICALLY short-lived. He was particularly delightful there, and honestly the whole cast was pretty fun. Shit, now I want to watch the whole series again. :(

WTF. Why would you take David Byrne’s oversized suit, poof-mush the shoulder lines, render it in the worst possible “1980s Clearance Rack” color palette, and finish it off with Zorro’s hat. No.
