It's even more disingenuous when you go on this article's author Twitter and see how she's been spending the last couple days trying to discredit the video by calling Jenny Nicholson a racist for past fandom drama I could barely parse.

So I did something I rarely do and went of the Twitter account of the article’s writer and, yeah, that’s pretty much what’s going on. She’s been spending the last few days defending herself by complaining how precarious her job as a theme park journalist is and by accusing (or retweeting people accusing) Jenny Nicholso…
Alien and Predator have bern having comics crossover since the 90s though. Alien vs Predator was a comics first, and both franchise fought Superman and Batman multiple times. The Xenomorph also had a crossover with WildStorm’s Stormwatch that directly led to the creation of The Authority.
Todd, my man: Joker is the worst template for a Spawn movie. Not only because the script isn’t that good, but mostly because Joker’s whole schtick is to drain all the comic book style from the character and make a “real” “serious” movie.
I want this to be good, I really do. But these advance reviews are notoriously unreliable, and these are even more useless than normal because it’s only 2 episodes out of 8.
I’m not gonna accuse you of being paid like many others have... but yeah, the fact that this article is published right now, seemingly out of the blue, is sus as all get out.
I really don’t see the problem with crossovers. “What if I take said familiar figure and said other familiar figure and had them meet?” is no worse or less original a premise for a story than anything else.
Oh, I know all about Ultimate Power and Land propensity towards porn as tracing material. I meant that I didn’t remember him using any obvious porn in the Predator vs Wolverine issue he did. He had enough Predator movies to steal from already.
Spielberg has a knack for improving on books - he did it with Jaws and also with Jurassic Park (though not with the sequel). But Ready Player One was just bad material to start with.
Yup, The 4th Kind, a Paranormal Activity rip-off.
The article says “a massive summer hit”, not “the massive summer hit”. And since Crystal Skull is the second biggest worldwide hit of 2008, I think it’s fair to call it “a” massive summer hit.
Not a flop, but still a disappointment. It only reached 12th on the list of Top Grossing films of 2018. It also wasn’t the franchise starter and merchandise mover the studio wanted.
I hope not. But I’d be ok with a feature-lenght remake of Taken. No, not that Taken. This Taken:
Angel Raul Julia salutes you, my man.
Ledger as Joker and Evans as Captain America are the two casting choices from my formative college movie buff period that taught me casting agent is a job for a reason, and that they take decisions based on way more info than we have as audiences.
I don’t remember porn poses, but a lot of the art still looked like lazy collages of traced assets. There is one shot I’m almost sure he traced an action figure of the Predator, because the proportions are so off.
I’d prefer a Ming-Na Wen cameo.... Actually, porque no los dos?
Yeah, it’s just the game logo, but you know it’s a movie because of the Legendary logo added below.
Seems like this time we don’t have to suffer through an issue of Greg Land’s art to start things off, so I’m excited!
Monkey Paw: Alright, no problem, I got you
