Also...yes, everyone would find it weird if a man didn't smile on his wedding day.

Okay, this is just not true. If I brought my kid to an Aladdin meet-and-greet and I saw some dude pouting in a shitty costume, I would find it shitty and yes, noteworthy.
I mean...I'm not trying to be rude, but holy shit, Elsa is a hot mess. Anna looks kind of cute, though?
I never once thought I would utter these words, but...Kaley Cuoco looks better than Beyonce. In these photos/outfits and these photos/outfits only.
"anyone who pays a surrogate is seriously, seriously morally bankrupt." What a horrendous blanket statement to cast on women such as Zelda Pinwheel who have exhausted all other remotely affordable options.
Man, you must have upset some kind of awful right-wing demon in a past life or something. In a slightly more fun "curse" (or blessing, perhaps), every time and every place my mom and I travel together, there will be a massive gay pride event. Key West, Boston, Ireland, London, you name it, we've seen them.
That is a horrifying curse. I am so sorry :(
"a frequent traveler like myself"
Holy shit, where are you flying from? I flew two days ago and sat next to a chill Teach for America volunteer...and this was from DFW.
Chimamanda Adichie's "Purple Hibiscus" is SO GOOD. It's her first novel, and maybe didn't get as much attention as "Half of a Yellow Sun" or Americanah, but this book makes her feminist writing really shine.
That Taye Diggs vine is everything and nothing all at once.
I would love to see that!!
YES. The headline and headers totally come off as returnofkings bs. I'm not sure why Mia Farrow is allowed to have opinions but Kerry Washington isn't.
I would also like to point out that just yesterday Jezebel ran an article entitled "Men Like Women Best When They Listen," which I really loved and thought it was a great example of why Jezebel can be so great. Telling people to STFU about a major issue in today's world right after publishing a piece like that…
Great point about the headers being all women on an article about STFU. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but it is problematic, especially on a women's website.
I really disagree with the majority of this post. I mean, I agree that hashtag activism does not do much good in the world, but writing an open letter (a la Penelope Cruz) is not hashtag activism and takes much more time and thought than an Instagram post and those should not be grouped together.
I think I could make a better movie poster on Photoshop, and I do not know how to use Photoshop.
This is hilarious, and it is made all the better by the fact that it all went down in a Popeye's parking lot.
Let's just agree to disagree. Like I said, it's all cool, and certainly not worth getting worked up about!
Then she should, you know, act like she enjoys/appreciates Hollywood and blockbusters.
