She ran a good campaign? You must not reside in a battleground state. From what I understand, she hit swing states with a barrage of negative Trump ads. Negative ads tend to anger people more than energize them.

I have gotten a lot of responses to my original post, but yours was expansive and reasonably respectful, and brought up points that shouldn’t be left unaddressed. So it merits a response from me.

Perhaps it’s just the opposite of what you describe. Comey has stumbled upon a large amount of evidence that could justify an obstruction charge, and he is in good faith doing is job, and actually enforcing the law. To bow down to political pressure in that scenario would actually be the wrong thing to do.
