I get that, I’m not one for more HP compensating for bad trackability. But the Z06 is always a more powerful, better handling version of the base model. I’d be interested to know if the incoming generation’s base model has ever beaten the previous generation's Z06.

Eh, I can allow them some leeway. This is their first modern mid-engine sports car. It's going to take a couple iterations to get it right. Shit, the C1 was a heap of junk. Not quite the same, but you get what I mean. Also, this is before the C8 Z06; I'll be curious to see how that one does

I’m currently mid-motor swap in a Mk6 GTI and I gotta say... Not as bad as you think. Now, I’ll see how bad it is when I go to fire it up and it gets angry and yells German slurs at me while I mad scramble to figure out which codes mean what and what sensor I forgot to plug in, but everything’s pretty straightforward.

I would actually argue that an ECU is exactly what defines a modern car. We’ve moved on from carbureted engines. I dare you to find a single production car that doesn’t have an ECU (also, though less so prove my point and more of curiosity, are there any small-production cars that have no ECU? I’d be very interested

Two years ago my CV axle was failing on my 2008 Scion tC. That would be where my fascination for working on cars sprouted.

I assume he missed the "n" in never in his giddy excitement

Nah, looks good. Expensive for me? Sure. But they're only making 250. NP

The truly record breaking attempt is the one that implements refueling whilst driving. One might argue that that constitutes an “assisted” condition, but then again so have the last two or three record sets, just not with fuelling specifically.

A VR game is their best bet at releasing HL3. And I don’t mean to say this is HL3, but rather there’s no game that could live up to the hype people have. This will act to kill the momentum.

Financially? The 2-door idea would be a bad one.

Really seems like BMW went:

Only problem I foresee is that it will probably still be minutes of charging, and most of the time teams will be coming in for a pit stop at the same time, so... There's just no one on the track? Halftime show, maybe?

I was able to play a different game on my PC while I waited. I tore down and rebuilt an entire engine plus front and rear suspension in Wrench. And I still had extra time.

What the fuck. Of all the things going on with US involvement in the China-HK dispute, this is what they focus on? Blizzard is a small, nothing problem. The internet is more than capable of hurting Blizzard. Congress needs to look at Apple, the NBA, Disney. These are the things the internet can't affect as easily, the

It’s a lot of miles, but it's also just an LS. Fixing -and upgrading- this car will be cake compared to some. And that C5Z body ooooohhhhhhhhh

I’m looking into having my Mk6 GTI painted either Soul Red Crystal Metallic (off the new Mazda CX-5) or White Silver Metallic (off the Mk7 GTI). My poor car recently had both doors severely hit whilst parked in two separate incidents in as many weeks, so basically everything but my hatch, roof, hood, and bumpers needs

Fuck now I need to redownload Threes

Ibxtoycat has been doing a bunch of things like this. He did a ton without mining and I think he did a run without crafting.

Yep! I check in with a few US importers (Japanese Classics, namely) every few months to see if there’s one already in the states, and every so often I’ll poke around the JDM sites (JDM Expo and a few I can’t remember) to get an idea for condition and pricing. Seems like $14k (arriving on US shores) will get you around

As someone really searching for a specific Mk3 (ie the one I’m about to talk about), this is such a CP. TBH I didn’t even read how many miles or what transmission it has. The only Mk3 that can command a $15k asking price is the 2.5GT Twin Turbo, the only Mk3 to have had a twin turbo 1JZ-GTE. The 7M-GTE should barely
