I love in New Hampshire and honestly yesterday was hell. I could barely walk across a parking lot. The ice was melting and refreezing, creating this horrible water on ice effect. Give me 12" of snow over that any day.

In response to the update: totally his fault. That’s not the question. The question is of the safety measures to prevent serious injury or death from kids or animals wandering around. Why was this an afterthought?

How would breeding a mid/rear engined car, like a LaFerrari, with a truck, like a Raptor, work? Would the bed be behind the engine? Would the engine bed in the bed? Would the bed be in front of the cabin, a la reverse ute?

This is truly awesome. I love when people do things with cars they weren’t meant to do. Also helps reinforce Miata Is Always The Answer

I love watching people get mad at others’ cars.

I think the answer could be as simple as the guy had the Miata and the engine, or had the mustang and liked the engine. He wanted both, but didn’t need tons of power.

What he’s saying is the person taking the order intentionally fucked it up, knowing said friends probably knew no French and would have to get a new order

Maybe they don’t need more horsepower? 👍

No I’m saying if they bump it that should be their cap.

Oh totally. The charts are a disaster to prove its lackluster acceleration. I think a updated powertrain might help, one where they focus on smoother acceleration. That would sate most everyone, and it should have been that way from the beginning.

Well of course. I didn’t mean it to sound like that was the reason why, I meant to say that that’s the only thing to gain from doing so.

Let me put it differently: is anyone saying the Miata has too little horsepower? Well, yeah, but not by much. The 86 falls into the same category as the Miata, with looks that make you want it to be running with WRX, 3-series, and other mid-range cars. But I think it hits the 86 legacy right where it’s supposed to: a

Not sure what PLC means, but I have a serious thing against 4 speed autos, especially the older they are.

Nice 👍 Maybe my friends have shit luck with them, or maybe it’s more to do with proper maintenance.

Unpopular opinion: 86 shouldn’t have more than 250hp. I really like how it feels as is. It’s it the fastest car? Fuck no. But is it fun? Yes, and giving it 400bhp is just going to get people killed. No light car should have all that power.

I mean, I only get 21k out of tires on my Scion tC. And that’s with rotating front to rear. It’s not just about power.

I should specify I’m talking about in drift cars like the one in the article. You need to basically be on redline 100% of the time with an SR, and they falter because of that. Plus there’s usually a turbo involved. I imagine in a daily with light tracking they’d be flawless. But still, 12 years is impressive!

I have never seen the word “Indestructible” used to describe a car with an SR20. Fantastic engines, but far from indestructible

Yeah, but I’m also a full time college student with a gravel driveway, no garage, and a chilly New England winter upon me. I had to change a CV axle today... I never knew hell was so cold.

The cost is about $4.99 and a trip to your local Home Depot for a can of spray paint 😉
