B. So refreshing to get past the silas other-side mumbo jumbo — which had to be re-explained 75 times per episode — and back to some nice character interaction between leads. it was quiet and (visually) dark. bump down for out of nowhereishness of plot, bump up for enzo = solid B.

motherfuckin' raptors aren't scary? come OHHHHN

good point.

the scene was jarring because it was out of nowhere, but yeah, she wasn't that bitchy if we can assume irving has been dissing his daughter for months.

on the plus side, the actress playing Irving's wife was so bad I actually thought Katia Winter was awesome in comparision. I'm still holding out hope. (I think everyone ships the leads, but come on, let's make it a few years worth of interesting).

nope

agree her lips looked weird. not sure why. which I probably only noticed because her acting not on par with the others, including adorable child. because, you know, I watch this show for the acting. which, I kind of do.

…but NO IRISH!

my OCD flared up during that scene

with a five hour running time, pacing is key

technically it's a converse boner.
wait, that may be something else.

gahhh.

that was my favorite part

stop liking sexy pictures involving black people, Boner Time. it's obviously racist.
on the other hand, while I'm thinking about it, it's interesting that still was the one chosen for the AVC home page. that's all i'll say about that and you can't make me say more.

cool

she does make an almost sort of good point about Princess Celestia's solitary existence. actually, scratch that, I don't think kids are watching the show for an in-depth look at the social life of parent figures, nor should the show be held accountable for failing to show that.

I've more absorbed it by osmosis than anything because it's on in the background a lot. but when I do actually sit down and watch it, I enjoy it. and it IS really beautiful

it's so much less poisonous than so many shows aimed at kids.

Haven't seen the episode but this is a fine show. Typically, when one pony gives in to her worst instincts, her friends pull her back from the brink, accompanied by the occasional song and dance number. Best of all, repeated exposure does not seem to have ill effects on children. In summary, suck it haters.

the creepy, miniature writhing skulls in the thracian phale (yeah, I just typed thracian phale like it was something) looked a lot like an itty bitty version of the writhing floor skeletons from, what was it, the third episode? cool. whatever you can say about the clunkier aspects of this show, the visuals continue
