or at least wait to reveal the reason for the breakup until you're, I don't know, out of mortal peril. ichabod forgot the number one rule of revolutionin' : bros before hos.

I bought that Irving would trust jenny, given what he has seen of late, but not that he would support someone who is unlikely to be legally permitted to carry a gun to be wielding, like, 2 or 3 guns in a shootout in front of other law enforcement.

agreed for the most part but I got pissed when they kept showing the totem pole on previously-ons. I was like, once was enough, thanks.

the image of his booted leg swinging over a motorcycle just gave me a little shiver

but with more freemasonry, less scientology

the lanterns were awesome. pretty sure this was supposed to be the halloween episode before baseball interfered.

it DOES taste gross some places. however, ichabod is clearly in the right on this matter.

I don't think they've been out of order. but I think the emotional fallout may hit later; the show has been pretty good at picking up those threads a few episodes down the road.
one thing is for sure, this was supposed to be the halloween episode, what with all the grisly real human head jack o lantern action….and

his scene in the lab with the horseman was awesome; maybe my favorite of the entire series.

I respect him as a necessary cog in the machine. I don't get the hate.

yeah, now that you mention that, I can picture that scene with the up-the-boot view. they did have a weird garbage-bag sheen to them.
I meant ichabod's boots, or course, but I guess you have to take your boot porn where you can get it.

that's a good point. although, I feel like the show glosses over stuff like this in the first instance, but often will get back to it in an episode or two. (I noticed that a lot in the first three episodes, although I can't think of any examples at this exact moment.)
on the other hand, last week's 180 on

I felt like last week's episode was overly claustrophobic - the cave makes a nice metaphor - in that the show isn't as good when it lacks "real-world" perspective, which is usually provided by the cops. this week's episode nicely integrated Irving (as well as old boyfriend, who I don't mind at all actually). for some

fashion watch:
the tunic is looking a little oily. not enough (Ichabod) boot shots. unless I missed something.
abby can rock a tight t-shirt and skinny jeans like no one else. I'm back on board with the carmel colored leather jacket.

I watch a lot of vampire diaries and the mythology on that show has become so cumbersome (they have to explain what is happening 3-4 times an episode, at great length) that the exposition on Sleepy Hollow seems miniscule. so while not great, it's actually relatively unobtrusive given they are making up a new reality

I agree. I liked a lot about the episode, but the pacing was off at the beginning and the end, which made everything seem sort of claustrophobic. maybe my issue is my need for more real world context for all the dream/trance/mystical visions. more orlando jones, dammit. and I guess I just said that.

his appearance is shorthand for "this character is a motherfucker."

I just watch with my mouth open. I miss story points as as result. it's embarasssing.

now I can't remember if he actually said that.

you're not alone; once he started in with the "dey" it was clear it was only possible to read it in jamaican
