it's like a cross between Alias (a show about a spy), Breaking Bad, Vampire Diaries, and 80s nighttime soaps. I only throw in BB because one of my favorite reasons to watch is to decide if kerry washington's character is more like Buffy, or more like Walter White.
AND it makes for a delightful double feature with TVD on fridays when I have time to watch Scandal and TVD is available on iTunes.
