Til that some people think jaywalking should be punishable by death, apparently. Or at least condone the threat of death to curb jaywalking?

This also happens a lot if your vehicle is somewhat ratty. Very common to hear “you didn’t signal” or “you crossed the line” followed very shortly by “mind if I search your vehicle” or “I’ve got a k9 coming, just hang tight"
From what I've heard of Killeen from my Army brother, I would've thought they used those for taxi cabs there.
Didn't realize Torchinsky lived in Chapel Hill, I lived there like 10-15 years ago.
I get your point, and take this as a serious question and not some snarky comment, but IS there even much car news right now? It seems like most of everything in the industry has been put heavily on pause. I haven't been going out of my way to dig and see whose been actually issuing news, new models, etc. My…
Car Mechanic Simulator has been a great help for me to occupy some time during all this. It's not perfect, and it only has a passing nod to reality in terms of mechanicals, but it's fun, and kinda zen. Will give this game a looksie, if it's not Xbox only.
I don’t care what anyone says, I think the Testarossa was one of the most beautiful cars Ferrari ever made. Maybe part of it was being a youngin when Test Drive was first released, but I've always loved em.
Jesus, that thing is gorgeous.
Sad, you missed out on "Did you pass any low flying planes out there?"
One of the very few bmws I actually like a bit.
Please don't forget these shows are heavily edited to create a specific narrative
I mean, yes, if you want to over analyze a throwaway joke meant purely for entertainment purposes that was in response to another throwaway joke meant for entertainment purposes.
I think we have a pretty good idea how the old scandanavians "crowd funded" their stuff. :)
It’s worth noting that some newish (say 2005) cars that specifically ask for 87 won’t even run or will run very poorly trying to fire off higher octane gas.

Can someone please explain what it means for a dam to "have its license revoked"? Like, it can't just stop working, right? It's not the sort of thing you can be like, oh this sign doesn't comply with local bylaws, yank it out.
What statistics do you have that address how often people exceeding 180 mph on highways don’t crash often? Or even over 120 mph. Especially regarding teenagers? How exactly are they able to track how many drive over 120 mph and don’t crash? How do they adjust for the percentage that are pulled over or arrested BEFORE…
Isn't the govt trying to ditch the usps now that it needs a little help after being able to run off its own merits for ages, unlike 95% of government?
1st gear is not a Guage of the impact of the virus, it’s a Guage of how badly run and corrupt car companies are. If their execs weren’t all getting paid 10x their salaries in bonuses, maybe they’d have more cash around to survive. It wasnt Coronavirus back when the US bailed out the auto companies, and it wasn’t the…
Yes, they would. The horizontal plane movement of the car would likely be slowing at a speed that would allow for missing injury as opposed to hitting a wall or another car. The new forces generated in the roll wowoulgenerate damage. The roof eventually collapsing would also do so. The point was that its not purely…
There are plenty who do. I live in a tiny ass town, like 6000 people. In the last year, we had two accidents involving cars going 120ish mph. 1 was 18 and 1 was early 20s. One of them clipped another car and crashed, getting killed and injuring the other driver enough to need an airlift to a bigger hospital that ours.…
