Rusillo is such a nothing entity, and that is such a steep decline. I remember kind of liking Rusillo when he was paired with Kanell just because he came off as the reasonable one (not hard to do). But mostly Rusillo is just the sound of a fan humming in the night - you forget it even exists.

Pitch framing is a well documented skill. And Gary Sanchez sucks at it. By Baseball Prospectus he’s 92nd our of 97 catchers in all of MLB at that particular skill. And he’s quite flagrantly displaying his lack of skill in the above video.

Manfred is half right that it’s not the MLB’s fault. Trout and Harper do commercials (Harper was on that annoyingly prevalent T Mobile ad), it’s not like baseball doesn’t market. He’s wrong that the real fault is the players, the truth is that it’s just not as popular of a game.

Green can play either wing position, likely LeBron will probably be playing some 1/2 as well to allow more run for Kuzma/Cousins/AD. They might add JR Smith or Melo as depth at some point, but I don’t imagine there’s a ton of playing time for KCP, Daniels, Cook or Caruso.
