Rusillo is such a nothing entity, and that is such a steep decline. I remember kind of liking Rusillo when he was paired with Kanell just because he came off as the reasonable one (not hard to do). But mostly Rusillo is just the sound of a fan humming in the night - you forget it even exists.

Pitch framing is a well documented skill. And Gary Sanchez sucks at it. By Baseball Prospectus he’s 92nd our of 97 catchers in all of MLB at that particular skill. And he’s quite flagrantly displaying his lack of skill in the above video.

Eh, he's had some moments. But probably a mistake to put him in the same air, I would concede

As an Indians fan... Nick Wittgren isn't too bad! Thanks for that one, Marlins!

Aside from going way too often to the same well on certain jokes (which, if you’re creating a daily 30 min comedy sports show and comedy radio bits... some of it is going to repeat by necessity), I've never understood some of the hate for LeBetard out there. Him, Bomani and Pablo are basically the most thoughtful

Dear Gary Sanchez,

Before cutting JR, the Cavs were the most expensive team in the NBA, owing to a few bad contracts signed when they were going for it all (JR, Tristan) and them taking on long term salary to try to please LeBron into staying (Clarkson, George Hill -> Dellevadova/Henson). Also Love’s max extension.

Japanese baseball already does this too

Goddamnit, me. Yeah, 100% my bad there.

Just out of curiosity, *could* an umpire take back an ejection? Aside from the fact that they won’t because umps never admit when they’re wrong (remember that the ump that admitted to blowing the call that cost Andres Gallaraga a perfect game faced blowback from the union). Could an umpire even say “you know what... I

He did manage to hit Laz Diaz in the shin on his first pitch.

I’m a dealer myself (not of poker but of other table games), and I really admire her professional way of handling it. She didn’t get defensive, immediately got someone higher up involved and did well to admit her mistake. He’s a fucking jerk, like so many of our customers. Buy honestly if that happened to me I'd

I have played tennis less than 10 times in my life (Wii tennis excluded). My grandfather is almost 90, plays a few times a week. He’s had a heart surgery, is on heart medication and has had both knees replaced. I’m 30, and the last time we played a few years ago he whooped my ass. He just kills me with drop shots.

For the next step of how you get Paul onto the Heat, I propose:

The Cavs are definitely cheaper now that they suck/don’t have LeBron. The Indians were cheaper than them before that for many years. The Indians specifically have jacked up ticket prices since 2016, but you can still get walk up seats for like 25-30 on game day a lot of times. It’s not outrageously expensive, but the

In Cleveland specifically, the Cavs are far more often on ABC then the Indians are on NBC, despite half as many games. They also are on Fox Sports Ohio, which is part of a basic cable package. Where STO is premium channel that for some providers has to be added a la carte. FSOhio also has better coverage in further

Manfred is half right that it’s not the MLB’s fault. Trout and Harper do commercials (Harper was on that annoyingly prevalent T Mobile ad), it’s not like baseball doesn’t market. He’s wrong that the real fault is the players, the truth is that it’s just not as popular of a game.

Green can play either wing position, likely LeBron will probably be playing some 1/2 as well to allow more run for Kuzma/Cousins/AD. They might add JR Smith or Melo as depth at some point, but I don’t imagine there’s a ton of playing time for KCP, Daniels, Cook or Caruso.

Carrasco seems to genuinely be a nice guy, always laughing and seems to be a proverbial clubhouse leader. He was the guy that started making those mocked up baseballs of all the Indians players a few years ago.

No, and that makes things more difficult for the victims. Often the people who are on the receiving end of the abuse/assault are financially dependent on the player. It creates a scenario where spouses and partners have extra financial motivation to keep quiet about it. Which is a problem.
