Stef, For a couple of thousand more, would you take this or the base WRX with the same engine with a turbo and all wheel drive?

x1! I really like these old Broncos and they are great off-road out West, where we don’t have to worry about a lot of trees. However, the under the hood shot is distrubing. And shouldn’t it have power windows? Is it a real EB?
Wow! Nice light show. Looks really cool, but no matter how many times I did this run in the daytime, I don’t think I would tackle a waterfall at night.
I really admire the work that has been done on this car. The care and attention to detail are amazing. On the hand, with a non-standard Lada engine, it doesn’t qualify for vintage rallys - so what exactly is the point? If it was a genuine rally car, ready to race, I could see the price. But, its not so:
I have a 2006 Acura RSX and I love it. One of the best Civic hatchbacks ever!
If its been up for sale for a year, then obviously the asking price is too high (CP) and he’s not willing to deal. Guess he will continue to own that car or bring the price in line with what someone is willing to pay.
I admire the condition of this car and the way the owner has kept it up to include evidently being rust free. However, I just can’t see that price.
x 1! I wouldn’t be in the market for the fox body Mustang, but this car is unique and appears to be in great shape. I would definitely cruise it with the top down!
What is the vehicle pictured?
x2! Safe vehicle, lots of power and reliable (if it hasn’t been mod’ed to death).
Agree! I don’t want to buy it, but I would love a test drive and a photo op!
Way over priced. Check out the oil stains on the driveway, everything needs to be fixed.
Exactly this! It looks nice, but what a headache to maintain.
That’s kinda of amazing - never heard of the “Vert-a-Pac”. Did the engines have oil/transmission fluid in them? The front bumper and frame must be pretty strong. I wonder how many modern calls could handle standing on their front bumper (or rear).
X 1,000! Might as well say “Free Candy” on the side. CP!
This x 1,000! This thing is just creepy. I’m surprized it doesn’t say “Free Candy” on the side of it and its always parked around schools and play grounds.
Exactly this. Gave you a star!
Will there be a “2017" model or will this just come out late in 2017 and be called the “2018"? I’m waiting on the new generation to buy one. Our local dealer has 40+ 2016 models on the lot, but doesn’t know when 2017s will arrive. Sounds like they will be 2018s?
Nice Land Cruiser in the background.
The Toyota cruise control lever goes back further than a 2005 Corolla: That lever is on my ‘97 Land Cruiser which means it was the same on all the FJ-80s which date back to the early ‘90s. I had the same lever in my ‘08 Lexus GX-470. It does make it easier to swap between vehicles.
