x2 on people still caring. Can you imagine someone scraping the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor? Many of those survivors are still alive and often when they pass, they have their remains interned there with their entombed shipmates. Lot’s of folks really do care about these sites.
x2 on the “teenager” car. Its a non-beatup Toyota, built in the 21st century, economical and great visibility for less than $4k? Nice Price all day long. If it was in southern Arizona, I would buy it for my son.

I agree, underneath the “crap”, there’s almost a WRX worth saving under there, but not at that price. Also, it amazes me that someone found a way to make the headlights uglier than the originals.
Where are you that you can find a RSX Type S for $7,800 or so that hasn’t been murdered out? I live in the SW, all over over $10k around here and are usually in bad shape. I looked at a base RSX, 1 owner, 88K mile car over the weekend for $9K.

The armoring on this BMW is truly impressive! Most sedans are only armored to defeat 9mm rounds, this one was stopping AK rounds. And if there really were “snipers”, they would have been using 7.62x54R ammo which are much more powerful than AK rounds (7.62x39). Amazing the glass could take that kind of hit.
