Man I don’t know how the enthusiast crowd could ever love this car. It is so boring. You’d think that VW would realize they are never going to sell like corollas and just make it more interesting.

E36 Ms are just starting to tick upwards, especially considering they’ve just become popular among drifters. It’s going to be one of those cars that secretly becomes impossible to find in good condition out of nowhere and then the prices are going to go up. They’ll never be worth what E30 Ms will be but they will

How about this! The MAF sensors on an E39 M5 are the same as the ones on a 2.0 Mk5 Golf/Jetta. The M5 units are like 200 and the Jetta ones are like 40. I bought two of them and swapped the sensors into the larger bore housings from the M5. I’ve had no issues whatsoever in 10k miles. I even monitored the fuel trims to

Would any of you be willing to write an article about how Mazdas used to have oscillating air vents? We used to have a 929 and it was the coolest thing. Cooler still was the fact that they looked identical to every other air vent I’d ever seen except that they moved back and forth. It was magical.

I have an E36 M3 that I am restoring. I found some surface rust in the trunk. I wondering if you guys have any recommendations on how to deal with this. Luckily there is no rust anywhere that would ever be visible so the sole goal is to kill the rust. Aesthetics are of no concern. I’ve heard that POR 15 is the best.

200 dollars to do a 10 hour job? Are these people nuts? If the company gets the insurance under control I still can’t imagine this would be successful. Maybe for 40 a day but 20 an hours is laughable.

I worry that if he wins Le Mans people will say his triple crown won’t count because LMP1 isn’t competitive right now.

What?! Are you nuts? The cars are absolutely the problem. Each and every one of them pales in comparison to their german counterparts. Terrible interiors with crappy materials, dated fonts/screens everywhere, and the worst infotainment in the industry, crappy unrefined powertrains shared with Chevys, ugly chrome

God these tech people are all just a bunch of lame man children desperately trying to code there way into never never land

I have an E39 M5 and it is just the most amazing car. As you said it’s an unbelievably great DD, but the real kicker is the way it manages to feel special at any speed. And the sound, it’s just automotive perfection.

Come on... the interior of the CT6 sucks and everyone knows it. That car is a half baked, GM cynical approach to a luxury car. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw “interior’s top-notch”. Give me a break.

It’s been the same for me for the last few years: Cadillac.

Agreed the Cadillac is for the guy who swears with his keyboard that the 997 interior wasn’t really any better than that of his C6 on corvette forums. The Cadillac is cheap crap in comparison to a 15+ year old E39 M let alone this new version. I wouldn’t be caught dead in one either. GM makes garbage.

The E36 is the greatest car ever and a far better track car for a weekend enthusiast than a Miata could ever dream of being.

The E36 is the greatest car of all time and a better track car for the weekend enthusiast than a Miata every day of the week. There I said it.

Yeah god forbid we do something new right? There’s totally something un-american about this vehicle.

You can find better ones for that price, and bad paint is a line not to be crossed. CP

My family has a 100 series Landcruiser and it’s been the best vehicle we’ve ever had. Ours has 291,xxx miles on it and it drives perfectly. If Jeep ever made something that was like 10 times better than any Jeep that’s ever existed they’d wind up with a Landcruiser! NP for sure

Look out everybody, 24 lbs of downforce!

I completely disagree. I think this is the only car I’ve seen in years that doesn’t come off as over styled. If the rest of the industry was a little more like this one everything would be better. I can’t believe you can consider this overstyled but the new Malibu cohesive with it’s ugly swoops up and down it’s sides.
