Well, lawyers bill by the hour, so you can be sure they’ll be paddling their timesheets.

I’ve tried to write and given up on it several times because I thought my stuff sucked. But, 50 Shades, Twilight, The Hunger Games, and the Gor books sell like crazy....so I guess I just need to swallow my pride, and keep at it.

Nor is anyone forced to eat, or live indoors, or wear clothing. Nobody’s forced to work for money.

So, would you be happy if your employer cut your hourly wage, and some jerkwad on the internet said, “Hey, you’ll get more hours, so it’s a win!”. More work for less money, along with more wear and tear on your car does not make for a win.

Uber doesn’t pay for the gas, dumbass. The drivers have to pay for that.

Wow. I can hear you back in 1850 : “Well if they don’t like being slaves, why don’t they just rise up?”

Uber advertises for drivers like crazy. If that’s not making an effort to add drivers, nothing is. It’s not as if people are lining up to drive for Uber because it’s getting such great word-of-mouth from its employees, after all. You can blame people for being too trusting, or for not doing their homework before

Anybody who’s ever had to hassle with a trailer and hated it can tell you why this idea never caught on.

Because Uber has a shitload of drivers, but each driver has only him/herself.

#6 “The Market” already did away with millions of jobs, leaving a lot of people with no other option than to take shit jobs like driving for Uber.

Isn’t that already called AirBnB?

How is it more income for the drivers? Remember that the whole schtick about Uber is that it’s supposed to be part time. If you can only work, say, 10-20 hours a week, and you’re already doing it, how does cutting your income per hour amount to a raise?

Because Uber is only in this for Uber. Sure, profits will go up for Uber. But not for the people who actually supply the service they provide. They’re already fucking the drivers. Now they’re fucking them harder, and with less lube.

A net increase of what? Rides given? How does that help the drivers? You do realize that each ride takes time, and there are only so many hours in the day.

Awww....I pissed off an Uber stockholder. Go fuck yourself, Scrooge.

Uber doesn’t buy the gas. The drivers do. Uber’s whole scam is pretending that that their drivers are “independent contractors” OK, fine. In that case, let the drivers set the prices, and Uber can act like the neutral middleman it’s pretending to be.

How much are rent, groceries, and other costs of living going down for drivers?

Nope. Just Chris Christie taking his belt off.

Origin, schmorigin.

So, people who don’t like noise but lack electronics skills get subjected to more noise? How considerate.
