A few years ago Washington and Dallas were hit with huge salary cap restrictions for breaking no rules. Literally, they didn’t break a single rule in existence, and they were penalized. And no one cared. I’m not sure how much owners care.

Goodell as Nixon? Please. He’s Colson. At best.

You really think the rest of the league is OK with Goodell pulling punishments out of his ass that keeps putting the league in the news?

I’m trying to think of a scenario where everyone involved loses. Whatever that is, that’s what I’m rooting for.

You really think the rest of the league is OK with Goodell pulling punishments out of his ass that keeps putting the league in the news? Besides, if Kraft, the Patriots and golden boy can be hit with such a punishment without REAL evidence, what does that mean for other teams?

The only advertising allowed is a small poster of a sunglasses wearing Jay Cutler by the cash register at 7-11, with the Surgeon Generals’ warning at the bottom.

I’ve compared the NFL to the big tobacco companies before. Everybody knows they make a fucked up product but it doesn’t matter because people can’t stop using it, and they know it. Get hooked at a young age, enjoy partaking while in the moment, feel like shit later, swear you’ll quit, cave and come back for more,

I’ve been trying to get a back channel conversation with my wife for years.

I want to see that. And the opposite.

I’ve never been into the show. To me, it always reminded me of when every comic book decided to go “grim and gritty” in the 90s. One most juvenile things to believe is that constant senseless hopelessness and violence are somehow inherently mature. It’s a 13 year old boy’s vision of what adult art should be like.

What did it accomplish other than show Ramsey as loving the evilz and taking Sansa down a few pegs for daring to try to have power in this world while bearing a vagina?

Thank you: “The problem isn’t that this episode included a rape, but that it did so in the service of bad storytelling. It told the audience nothing that wasn’t already known, and it didn’t advance any plot lines beyond where they already were.”

The worst thing about this scene is that there is absolutely no logical reason for it to exist. The show runners weren’t in any way bound to put Sansa’s rape on TV because it never happened in the books

Look at all the Fawkes we give about SEC softball.

We are the 99% (of sports fans who unfortunately don’t care much for SEC softball)!!1!!!1!!!1!

It was puke and I hated it!

I never knew that Mets front office personnel got to sit in the expensive seats.

I got $5 says he is married - but not to her.

That’s got to be so disappointing - being named Shelby.

Whoa.
