If you actually followed that story, singular, you’d know that one of the biggest problems with it was that the writer chose to ignore several other victims with less sensational but more substantial stories in favor of the one that was most shocking.

I think that the rapist high school football players have pointed it out for me that high school football players think rape is okay.

And satire also helps to expose social problems by being a vital and necessary social critique.

What I love about this show is that the structure tends to be silly silly silly commentary silly silly commentary incredibly silly. There’s a great interview with the writers where they talk about the importance of balancing the truth-telling laugh with the fun laugh and man, they are nailing that balance. Key & Peele…
