Nordic Games, now referred to as THQ Nordic, acquired “substantially all” of THQ’s remaining intellectual property in April 2013, and has cited interest in re-releasing Deadly Creatures on modern platforms, pending acquisition of the game’s source code from the original developers.”

Now playing

This is more a general consensus thing, not a personal one. We’ve all watched the video.

It was $3 on Xbox, I know that for sure.

there is always cross gen compatibility during initial launches of new consoles”

Entirely possible.

If they even had it functioning...considering the fidelity issues and pop-in, low detail textures, etc. It couldn’t have possibly gone unnoticed that, graphically, this game looked worse than Halo 5 even if they had RT enabled, and I would assume, if anything, that would’ve exacerbated the pop-in issues.

Then you’re not just an asshole, but a stupid asshole.

Well... in the context of what this maniac is saying, that’s rather irrelevant if they were wiped off the map.

You cannot be serious.

While I largely agree with all that you said, it is also a very likely that the studio lead departures over the creative direction of the game last year(two years ago?) left the game in a narrative state that was...not up to snuff. He might be punching some stuff up as well as guiding the game to release.

Because that would mean potentially missing out on MILLIONS of sales. There’s an install base of 50+ million Xbox One’s out there, and the likelihood that a large portion of those people will buy Infinite on XBO is pretty good. Even those that already have Game Pass/xCloud. Whereas XSX will have a pretty small user

This.......is just silly.

Yes, sketchy. They removed PS2 emulation from PS3 both in HW form and via the software emulator, stating that software emulation didn’t work well enough to support...only to turn around and sell PS2 Classics, games that previously worked, running on that very same emulator. Then all of those PS1 and PS2 Classics

I hate to break it to you, but so far anyways, the PS5 only supports PS4 games for backwards compatibility, PSNow notwithstanding.

The BC games that run natively are Xbox One games. Xbox 360 games are PowerPC, so certainly not native. Original Xbox games are also x86, but still running via emulation.

Very much this.

That’s an extremely apples and oranges comparison, to be fair.

the PS5 and XSX will likely not be hard to find at retail following the first few weeks after launch”

That was two different years, 2000 and 2001...but yes, 2001 was a good (and expensive) year for console launches, regardless.

lol, you chugged the whole pitcher!
