That was one of the first things I noticed in her statement. I actually went back and looked at McCain’s age to see how the fuck his mom is still alive. Good for her.

Oh lord. I had so many of the same/similar outfits. Polos in every color were the shit at my school. Middle school also featured many a flared pair of pants and Doc Martins.
I read the entire post waiting for the punch line/snarky comments. Babysitter’s Club books were more enthralling.
Oh lord. I have multiple “near miss” exes. Thank you God, Allah, whomever for introducing my now-husband and I to each other when we were both ready to be in a relationship (aka after hooking up with quite a few people each and dating sucky people). We almost crossed paths multiple times over the years, but were both…
I’m married and almost 30 and I want to host a lemonade stand. That’s, like, the #3 reason I want to have kids.
All day, err’day. (Check!)
I want to pet a giraffe. I feel like that belongs on my life bucket list instead of my summer bucket list. Booo adulthood and maturity.
I do that way too often - especially when my To-Do list is overwhelming. :)
My friend and I were just talking about that. How, even though she and Cory Booker would make beautiful babies and I’m sure she’s had many much more recent bangs, I really hope it’s BJ’s baby. I would be content with BJ being the sperm donor in the situation. I just really want them to have a baby together. Twu wuv.
Also, is that shirt purposely cut that small? It doesn’t look like it was folded under so that she can truly capture the underboob.
Nice. When my brother was acting like an asshole a couple years ago (just bought a house and had the nerve to ask my parents, “do you know how much new carpet costs??” when he destroyed, like, everything they owned while growing up), I bought him carpet cleaner for Christmas. I think I gave him a real gift, too, but…
Way to go! Keep kicking ass!
It freaked me out, too. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t such a fan. It was much too disturbing in my opinion.
Very good point. If only you could go back in time to 2010 and explain that to my parents who were STILL worried as I graduated from a liberal arts college with no jobs on the horizon. :)
Yeah. I thought about just checking the ebook out from the library, but when I went to see how cheap it is at Half Price Books, I found a beautiful, probably never-read hardcover copy of it for all of $5. It looked pretty on my bedside table while I was reading it and now it looks pretty on my bookshelf. :)
Yay! I <3 Amy Adams, so I’m sure she’ll do a great job.
Ooooh that sounds interesting. Adding it to my Goodreads To-Read list! (which grows longer every day. Sigh.)
High five for comm majors! I double-majored in communications and political science. To the surprise of everyone and myself, I use both of my majors in my career, whereas a friend who graduated with a BS in Accounting is now working in Media Studies. Take that, Baby Boomers!
I didn’t realize they were making Sharp Objects into a show! Is it a mini-series? What network/site?
I recently read that for the first time! My book club decided on it, of all things. I never read it in high school so it was surprisingly enjoyable.
