This thing should have been a competitor in the Ranger Rover, Land Cruiser, or even Nissan Patrol space. I don’t understand why they neutered it so much. The boxy design was great IMHO, but it didn’t have the overlanding chops to keep up with those other models. By aiming it downmarket, but not REALLY downmarket, it

Do the Kia and Hyundai feel more like CUVs or wagons? I look at the Kia EV6 in particular with its lower stance and raked back, and think, “that looks like a cool wagon” but I’m afraid the driving experience won’t match it.

So how do this car and the Kia EV6 compare? The base price for both is about the same, but the EV6 has a more wagon like (and I’d say way cooler) design. Is it just a matter of sporty vs practical? Is one considered the “luxury” model?

That little hanging nose over the grille. I expect that car to say, “Ah Cha-cha-cha-cha-chaaaa”

Ugh, the little skin-tag flippers with 2 lights that look like zits growing out of the front...... I need brain bleach.

Ah, a bear in his natural habitat.

Oh man those triangular wheels. My dream car in high school was a fully kitted out Pathfinder with those wheels and the tubular step rails. (Back when the Pathfinder was a real offroader)

Would be nice to see it in my garage when I’m lookin’ out my back door.

The Tesla karaoke microphone!

Yes! I don’t understand it either. What’s the connection between the car and the dearly departed?

whatabout whatabout whatabout whatabout....

You realize your car still has brake pads, right? Regenerative braking is all well and good, but the car still has to come to a stop somehow.

Ok, yeah, I see that now. The first thing that comes to mind is a food truck, based on the picture below. I was hoping for some really weird specialized airport, construction, or rescue vehicles though. Thanks!

Like a food truck!

What would be an example of a vehicle that’s built on this chassis on the road today? I know there are a lot of work vans and trucks out there, but they all have the standard Ford cab. I’d like to see a current vehicle with its own specialized custom cab design just to see what’s possible.

If I sneak through an intersection as the light is turning yellow, I have to kiss my hand and touch the headliner. It started among my friends in high school as a gesture of thanking the Traffic Gods, and I’ve never been able to shake it.

The CH-R seemed like it was the competition for the Nissan Juke*, but then Nissan killed that in the US in favor of the much more boring Kicks. So now it doesn’t really have a segment. This lifted Corolla will probably compete against the Honda HR-V even though that’s a version of the subcompact Fit. Toyota will just

Your US picture is missing the Santa Fe and Palisade, I think you cut too much when you removed all the Tuscon variants.

The 8 main streets through town were all one-way, so you had 2 northbound, 2 southbound, and 2 eastbound, 2 westbound. Outside of those, the side streets didn’t adhere to the 25mph rule as strictly, but you could usually make it through 3 or 4 lights in one go.
