I always loved the idea of Dodge designing a prototype for a ghost.

Funny, both of these are GM concepts. It is criminal that none of these were ever close to production, yet we got Celestiq.

Buick Avista:

not the best looking, but the Mazda Kabura and Chevy 130R were cheap RWD cars that could’ve beat the Toybaru twins to the market for young enthusiasts.

I’ve never owned a Nissan and don’t even consider myself partial to the brand, but I was genuinely disappointed when they killed any plans for the IDX going into production.

I got to go with the Nissan IDx

Why, GM? WHYYYYY?

I don’t think it needs to be yet another testosterone dripping machine. I’d love something like a modern day Isuzu Trooper or first-gen Mitsubishi Montero -- basically a “pair of favorite jeans” truck that’s simple, useful for people, dogs or cargo, and can poke its way down a real trail every once and again.

Econobox appliances are low hanging fruit answers for this QOTD. I don’t think car makers even really care about the designs for their high volume disposable appliances. They’ll sell no matter how they look. They do the bare minimum, and that is it.

2010 Subaru Forester. It looked old when it came out and looks even worse now. I mean, look at this thing. When this thing came out, a washing machine looked better. Hell, most Subarus don’t age well.

Have any of these people actually sat down and watched Steam Boat Willie? Mickey Mouse is a goddamn sociopath (that poor mama pig) you can’t make him any more of a gleeful, violent sex pervert than Walt Disney already did.

“Are we all just pretending this weird little NFL/Swift show isn’t actually a thing?”

God, I’m so fucking sick of this woman and her highly calculated public persona. If you don’t want attention on your romances, then don’t make so many public appearances at televised NFL games - which seem exactly designed to rehabilitate the NFL’s image and continue the rampant interest in Taylor’s dating life. This

What do you mean it wasn’t a good joke? I thought it was perfectly snarky and actually pretty fucking accurate compared to all the other terrible jokes. In fact, if Tina Fey made the joke, I don’t think people would have considered it bad at all.

Honestly, god help anyone who says ANYTHING about her if we’re referring to that Jo Koy joke as “cringe-worthy.” It was not a good joke. It was barely a joke. But my goodness, is it being blown so absurdly out of proportion. “Taylor Swift is dating an NFL star and gets shown on TV a bunch.” Oh, what a diss to Tay-Tay.

Whether or not public domain slashers are sustainable, it’ll be interesting to see if anyone finds any other kind of use for Steamboat Willie. Until then, it seems we’re stuck in this dark reality.

I thought HD was a plus size clothing company that also made a few motorcycles.

yeah sure hate on a well-engineered, affordable, practical, relatively efficient yet stylish vehicle.... weirdo

Not a car, but a bike. Bike brand. Harley-Davidson. Let 2024 be the year Harley finally brubbrubbrubs off to the great junkyard in the sky. They can just pull back and focus on their real growth area, branded merchandise.

Kia Soul is an excellent vehicle for say...someone who just graduated college and got their first job. It’s also one of the extremely limited number of vehicles that still starts under $20k. The old turbo model was even pretty quick.
