Some day, perhaps people will realize that there’s this entire hacker culture dedicated to rooting out the assholes who are Ruining Everything, and making them suffer the normal and natural consequences for their actions by exposing them.

Yes, but these are teachers. They need to rise above. The students need to be led by example. This type of thing undermines their credibility as a teacher and therefore is counterproductive to what they’re apparently trying to accomplish.
