Are you sure that time is right for the Bathurst 12 race? According to the link, the race starts at 1pm-ish SATURDAY, not Sunday. Plus, 1:45pm EST for an Australian race doesn’t seem to make sense, cuz it’s Monday there.

It did bad in frontal tests, if not when it first came out, than definitely by the time that it was retired. The whole steering column/ dashboard assembly just gets shoved in the face of the driver. That might have been fixable with some better design under the hood though.

Right on. Admittedly, I’m a bit more of a sucker for the 5th gen ones, but I had a 2nd gen. So... you know... it might just be that the ‘designed with a ruler and only a ruler’ look feels more like home.

Considering that the car you’ve linked is 25 years old, and doesn’t really look it, I’d say that pulling design elements from it isn’t that bad an idea. I mean, they could pull design cues from other things...
