I know we’re not talking about a spoof but, this will always be my favourite Gymkhana video:
Negative. If you win in court you’re still on the hook for the license reinstatement fee ($100), towing/impound fee (Anywhere from $750-$2000 depending on where you live), and you’re drivers abstract will still show a 7 day suspension for stunt driving for 5 years.
I’m sure someone has brought this up in the nearly 1k comment a bit:
Even the dents on the passenger side door aren’t even remotely close.
2012 Civic LX Coupe 5-Speed MT. It had zero versatility and I needed versatility. I don’t personally think it was as bad a car as the world made it out to be. Yeah the interior was cheap but other than that I enjoyed it. You just couldn’t fit anything in it or take any people anywhere. I was so much happier when I…
Also another about that gen of Xterra that I’ve discussed on Oppo and finally found an answer to: The downstream o2 sensors on the 2002-2004 Supercharged Xterra don’t actually do anything. The ECU on the SC models is programmed to ignore them, all it looks for is that they’re plugged in. I found this out when I popped…
On the Canadian Market 1999-2004 Nissan Xterra, they never installed a bulb in the low fuel light panel on the cluster. No idea why. Every Canadian market Xterra I’ve seen has an open bulb slot for the low fuel light (the bulb is installed on the USDM trucks). I popped a bulb in mine and sure enough, it works. I will…
My work truck is an ‘07 Silverado 1500, but the new generation, not the generation pictured in this article. It was about -30 out one night last winter, and I pulled on the tailgate handle and both the plastic linkages securing the rods snapped. I just ripped the bezel off and threw it out. The next gen has the same…
That’s awesome! BSW was one of my favourite places to be on a Saturday night. I always wanted to try my hand at racing mini stocks, just never had the time or money to get into it. We make the trek up to Varney Speedway now on Saturdays. I have too many great memories at BSW to count, and I no doubt probably saw you…
We used to play Chinese Fire Drills when I was in high school. I had an ‘84 944, my buddy had a ‘94 Accord EX-R Coupe, and another buddy had an ‘89 Cutlass Supreme Sedan. We’d stop at at red light, everyone would get out of the cars, and jump into a different car. Sometimes you wound up driving someone else’s car. One…
You mean almost 4000 people bought the 13 year old Frontier? Considering that zero R&D has gone into that truck in at least the last 5 years, that thing must be a cash cow for Nissan.
True. I live an hour north of Toronto and I hate that place. It’s bad enough I have to drive there for work.
As a Canadian, I am shocked that you believe there’s more to this country than the GTA...
I seem to recall, though I’m not 100% sure (someone please correct me if I’m wrong), but the IIHS came out with the offset frontal crash test during the Previa’s production run, and the whole chassis basically just folded when presented with this test. Similar to the GMC Safari/Chevy Astro.
Didn’t the Previa have one of the worst crash test ratings of its time? I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the drivetrain layout, but it might.
