Me too. I’d be more excited for more Babylon 5 if it wasn’t this. Please someone get a new plot idea.

Sea Launch did this for years. This isn’t exactly a new idea.

Years before Bluey existed I adopted two these Australian Cattle Dog mixes in 2012-2013. Looking back now I think it’s kind of hilarious that I had a Bluey and a Bingo. Unfortunately my red heeler (Jasper) has passed but the blue one (Maya) is still going strong. Also the inspiration for my username.

I’m still in a bit of shock this is coming back but I’m looking forward to it.

There’s another new Tchaikovsky as well. Lords Of Uncreation (Book 3 of Final Architecture) is out today.

I’m not savvy enough for the scientific details but this sort of interferometry works much better on radio telescopes like the EHT than things like Webb apparently. That doesn’t even account for the decade and cost to build another Webb.

A few years back I worked pseudo contract gigs for an equipment vendor. I was their dedicated engineering resource for the client. I had been full-time remote already for a while and there was no reason I couldn’t do all of my work remotely. When my new contract was being negotiated with the new client my boss at the

Why? The minivan was there as a camera mount to observe the launch and no one was in it. The cameras were being remotely operated. This isn’t a big deal (except to whoever insured the van).

Yeah, it just being another Deathbringer was rather disappointing. By that point in the game you should have figured out how to kill them and making the final fight a slightly stronger one was just ...meh.

I can’t be the only one who remembers using Lynx to web browse.

How is this any different than an inReach Mini which already did this years ago? And does live tracking if you pay for it as well.

Why on earth would anyone trust them after 1899?

We’ll never know how many would have finished watching the first season if a second had come up and gotten some buzz. Or if they’d held off the cancellation decision for a bit. Netflix made the decision so quickly that they basically killed it before it ever had a chance.

That article is bullshit. They cancel tons of things after 1 season. The date on that is 2020. Clearly things have changed.

Netflix baffles me. They pay for things like this which have almost zero chance of getting a big audience but 1899 and Inside Job do fairly well and get cancelled. Yeah this will get cancelled almost instantly.

I so badly wanted Animaniacs to be better than it turned out to be. Its trying so hard and just ends up so ....blah. Without the other characters it has no variety. It’s like they somehow managed to suck all the joy and passion out of it.

No 1899?

Not entirely true. Some of these may get shopped around but some of them can never be seen again in order to get the tax benefit they want. If they put them out anywhere, in any form, they can’t write them off.

The seeming lack of promotion for this season has seemed very weird too for an obviously expensive and seemingly prestige series. I strongly suspect that if this hadn’t already been completed that HBO Max would have cancelled it like they did Westworld.
