Considering he’s tried killing both his son and grandson on multiple occasions, I would agree that’d he’d be one to go and go King Henry the VIII on his wife/wives.
I actually really liked this game. Never understood why it was poorly received. The only downside, I thought, was that the lyrics drove people mad. I suppose the game was also somewhat unbalanced... because the unlockable characters (save for Plush Robo Tails) were pretty strong compared to the main cast.
Truth be told, the clips did give me a bit of that vibe. The look of some environments and that knight talking to the main character, anyway.
WoL finally gets a story... and outfits that transform him into representations of the original classes. Works for me! (Dissidia only gave him an alternate that has him appear as a Red-Haired FFI Warrior.)
Still a fitting name, considering their circumstances at that time.
Because it lacked Cloud? No. Because it lacked A LOT of things. If anything, it was super-techy, which is more like what FFVI, VII, and VIII, were... (and why IX backtracks to something more familiar to older titles). Heck, dystopian future is more akin to VII if anything. They go even further because it’s a Sci-Fi…
Damn good game at that too.
That’s... um... no.......don’t like it.
*shrug* The article indicated that Gordon is basically unrecognizable to his peers, so that would seem to indicate he wasn’t really on their payroll or something...
Doc Brown working with one of The Doctors? That’s... dammit... I want this now.
Beat me to it.
And one of the reasons why Square went to Sony’s console...
And Resident Evil 2... but this was at the very end of the 64’s life cycle IIRC. I also recall that it was a very difficult process to compress/optimize in anything that was remotely decent. Overall, it’s not that bad given that it was essentially impractical/impossible for other folks.
Yea... Raiden is quite the fuckup in the reboot, it seems. Not quite a fan of them going all “Team Cage” and forcing Kung Lao, Liu Kang, and Kitana as the new big bads, or whatever. Other than those main bits, the character interactions and overall flow of the main game plot is a significant improvement.
Been using imgur myself for vid2gif lately... Unfortunately the file size is usually rather large, and Kinja refuses to allow the nice .gifv format to be linked properly.
Keep forgetting that N64 basically couldn’t handle CGI, for the most part. The only game that I think even tried that was the N64 port of RE2, and even then, it had noticeable reduction in quality for both the CG and audio.
