It’s akin to the claim that RE somehow created the “Survival Horror” genre... when there were other series out there. They may have popularized it, and IIRC coined this term, but they didn’t create it.

Mumen Rider provides a rather nice contrast to it all. He’s a C-Class Hero, and likely will remain as such because he has ZERO powers. His bravery is still noteworthy of a hero, however... and they eventually give him a damn good scene to emphasize this.

Basically, it’s like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night’s Inverted Castle now... only you kind of need a trick that’s not intended to get through it. Bit of a downside there, I think.
