On WTF Alison Brie explains how hard she had to work to get the part and how much she wanted it.. I never would have guessed anyone would have ever been reluctant to cast her in ANYTHING, but there ya go. But she wouldn't have stood a chance of getting the part if she hadn't really gone after it.
