I feel they had to warp Karen’s personality in an effort to make her support of the Punisher plausible. Karen from S1 Daredevil assisting a mass murderer, regardless of his justifications, seems extremely implausible.

Ugh, I hated Senator Straw-Man in this episode. Caroline nails it- I’ve heard children discuss gun control in more nuanced and sophisticated terms than this show managed with Karen and Senator Ori. I don’t mind if the show has an opinion, but I wish they did a better job articulating the debate.
