The fake news situation is on Facebook and ad providers to deal with swiftly. It only happens because they’re financially rewarded for click bait content. Facebook has purged click bait content before, to say they can’t do the same with fake journalism is ridiculous.

Sorry if this is superficial and weird, but her hair looks good. We could have had a President with normal fucking hair.

FTFY

Or a wall-building reality show. Ty Pennington vs. Chip & Joanna. They’re gonna shiplap the fuck out of that border wall.

He flew too close to the batshit sun.

I’m so sick of both Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders trying to be heroes after the fact. They, especially Bernie, helped cause this and now they’re trying to pass the blame and re-characterize their legacies. This isn’t anything but false hope and a fundraiser.

Typical government bureaucracy.

It only took the CIA sixty years.

Man, people sure have a strange way of expressing their economic insecurity.

POTUS is everything gracious and good. I can’t wait to see what fresh hell private citizen Obama unleashes on this shit show, come Jan 21.

These fucking Biden memes are the only thing sustaining me currently.

With the entrenched bureaucracy, I’m guessing it’s going to be like having the type of idiot boss who’s constantly telling you to do utterly pointless things and then forgets about it the next week, so you just never bother doing the stupid things he tells you to do.

The minute that we calm down is the minute that this bullshit becomes the norm. I would politely tell anyone that tells you to calm down, to actually do the exact fucking opposite. We relaxed after Obama won and we lost congress. Never. Fucking. Calm. Down.

I’ll never forget this article from last year about Kentucky’s surprise election of governor Matt Bevin, who ran on a platform that had a main plank of dismantling the extremely successful health care system the state had created under the ACA. It foreshadowed this election perfectly. Look at this quote:

The future of the Democratic party isn’t in being centrist like Webb and Clinton, it’s in embracing Warren, Sanders, etc. and being actually liberal in the European sense of the word for once.

It won’t splinter due to the core republican value of being a spineless slave to authority.

Where does the party go in a presidential election where their candidate is already coming out of this with a million more votes than her opponent in growing? Hopefully, not too far. And, anyone purposefully trying advocate for some huge shift is likely someone trying to re-fight a primary they couldn’t win because

This is what kills me about the idea that we should election “non-politicians” to public office of any kind - and this is an idea that comes from both sides of the isle.
