The worst part is I have all the Princess Diaries books on my shelves because my college roommate gave me her copies and I’ve just ignored them the entire time. I’m terrible.

I listened to the audiobooks a few years back and even with the dated references, they’re still so much fun.

Her YA Abandon trilogy about a bad boy death god, a girl who had a near death experience, and their ~eternal love~. The first was okay, so I thought the story would improve with the second and third once the heroine got her priorities in order, and it so did not happen. First time I’ve ever hate read a Meg Cabot…

God, yes. I can’t unhear him as Archer... though I was embarrassed to admit I didn’t recognize his voice AT ALL in the movie until my roommate was like, “Hey, is that Archer as the Can of Soup?”

I love Kate Beaton! The Great Gatsby comics are hysterical, and I love the ones she does based on Nancy Drew covers.

Amusingly, Stephenie Meyer’s copy of Midnight Sun - the Twilight re-telling from Edward’s POV - was leaked on to the ‘Net before it could be published.
