I’ve been watching Stanley Cup games: the 1967 playoffs between Toronto and Montreal, a bunch from the 80s, with Gretzky, Messier, Gilmour and Lanny Macdonald.

Reading this, what I found myself thinking was a Daily episode about a month ago where they interviewed the NY Times responsible for health crises about the US response. It was seriously one of the starkest interviews on the topic I’ve listened as the reporter essentially explained how the US lockdown wasn’t being

A tad OT but it’s really maddening to listen to these ghouls’ China blaming. Whatever China did or didn’t do, the fact is this rotten orange asshat totally fucked up the real world response once cases hit the US. This is a massive public health crisis and the federal gov’t failed...at Trump’s direction. All the

Can someone help me out... the people that the virus is fake, do they think Trump is being duped or maybe strong-armed or do they think he’s part of the conspiracy?

This is last year. Now I started mid summer so that probably has a lot to do with it. That is about how much grew last year.

Read my mind. That was the basic plan. I believe I gave my mom some fresh herbs and she made an Italian feast for my annual family vacation. And the basil made an amazing pesto too.

Whoops, I missed the mention of the vegan sausage — makes more sense in a veggie chili! Polenta sounds so goooood with something stew-like. ^_^

I noticed a bumble bee flying up in that area when I was grilling copious amounts of meat this afternoon. The flowers are just coming out. This is what I planted.

No mint. The back pot had chives, cilantro and oregano.

I think they’re philodendrons of some sort. They look like this:

Whoops!  Well, glad I didn’t try substituting then!  Hahaha.  Thanks for the link.  Nom.  Wow, leeks in chili, I never would have thought of putting it in something with meat.  I do love leeks though, so.... nomnomnom worth it

Not really trying to grow anything, but last summer I tried to grow some wild flowers on my deck from seeds that I got in the mail from my old university. They were promoting saving the honey bees and the mix is like by honey bees. So I took half the seeds and they grew somewhat, but never really made it to the top of

That sucks. We’ve all done it at least once though, lol. The best, easiest way to get the mess cleaned up it to actually defrost the freezer and (carefully!) Wipe everything down. Otherwise you'll be finding bits of glass for months. If that's not an option,  just do the best you can with a cloth and some warm water.

That is a really good idea. I was wondering this year how I’d keep them away from any baby lemons.

My ancient plant Rapunzel is doing great and his offspring, Sonpunzel, is hale and hearty in his new pot.

What! I never knew ramps were leeks. I also never thought about putting them in pasta... I just asked my mom for her potato leek soup. It’s too hot for soup but I want it anyway. :|
