she was given a tv show, literally for being the disgustingly self involved mother of a tiny train wreck. that vote of approval for her personality and lifestyle contributes directly to the same delusion that allows her to say "i put my kids first" while dating someone who raped one of her kids.
Thank fucking god for Sandra Hale. There's one actual adult looking out for the children, who cares about their well-being and safety. Jesus Fucking Christ, this gets worse by the day.
k, it's time to stop giving shows to narcissists. tv might get less interesting, but rewarding this behaviour/mindset is too dangerous.
I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I don't believe it should be a college's responsibility to protect their students at all times in every aspect of their lives. There is a ridiculous amount of mission creep in modern universities, in which a college is expected to service every aspect of a student's life…
I used to work there and am not at all surprised by the administration's response to this. The environment is extremely conservative, so of course rape would be the woman's fault. I'm so sorry she experienced this kind of treatment.
Sounds like they followed the model used by the Roman Catholic Church, also referred to as "the hot potato method"
This is all kinds of ugly. The fact that colleges try to sweep these things under the rug - and worse, blame the victim for having been victimized - continues to baffle me.
"Robert Roe, the student accused of raping Doe, was ultimately found responsible for the crime in an on-campus disciplinary hearing and expelled. But the school changed his records to state he had "voluntarily withdrawn" in order to "assist him in seeking further studies."
I think it's pretty common in most cities. My gf moved to NYC from Boston recently and she said it was pretty much as bad in Boston. I too am a man and have pretty much never received attention from strangers except for people asking for change.

Excellent point. AND EXCELLENT SHADE.
Jordan is trash-talking, which is a whole nother art form. It's like using a baseball bat instead of a scalpel - but that's not something Jordan would know much about.
It's an internet comments section, did you expect civilized discourse?
Comes down to personal boundaries i guess. Outside of the guy following beside her in the video I didn't see anything that I would have really felt was harassment if it was me. Being told to smile registers as a minor annoyance at best but that's just me. Other people feel differently about it which is where the…
The orchestrator of the video has actually come out to say that it was pretty even in terms of racial disparity among the catcallers, it was just mostly an issue supposedly with audio/video cleanness during those accounts.
That dude on the right's makeup eyes look like really bad photoshop and I, for one, am freaking out.
They link to the original at the end and make a bit of a point of calling out out. I think it was an attention / awareness thing.
How do Skyrim's townsfolk react to seeing a player walk around in suggestive body mods? They don't. They just repeat…
The problem here as with any ecosystem that is out of balance, is the lack of the clowns natural predator The Mime. We need to bring in some Mimes and reintroduce them to into the clown heavy areas. Once the natural balance is restored the clowns and mimes will only prey on one an other and the rest of us will be safe.
