Is it that there was a UFO at all or something about this scene specifically? Because someone staring up at a UFO kicked off the entire season with Rye. Had he not been distracted by it, Peggy never hits him with her car and none of the season follows. It's an important Chekov's Gun-esque element to the season.

*I* yelled that out and pointed to where the CHARACTER IN MY TELEVISION HAD JUST GONE.

It got to the point where I was fast forwarding through 90% of an ep. EventuallY i asked msyelf "Why are you still watching this at all?" and stopped all together.

But that's not what TC is. It is largely more about teh food and techinques than the drama. That's a minor component and not a consistent one. "High Drama" chefs can and have been cut leaving relatively calm, likeable skilled competitiors. Many times.

Nothing is as bad as the inserts in Big Brother. Makes it unwathcable to me.

Puddy is in a ton of episodes.

Dan Beirne is perfect as Sonny <3 But I also know him IRL so I'm biased.

Sonny is my fave with Floyd a close second.

well she WAS a politican in all that time, plus on screen before she left as well.

Fade up. Smash cut to.

Imagine what a great shakeup it would have been. But no, test audiences wanted the regulars to survive. They probably would've been able to do the planned trilogy had they actually gone there.

Insurrection would've been an OK ep of the show. That's it. Why anyone thought it was enough for a movie is beyond me.

But the Queen (while a nice fit the whole 'drone' idea that's already in play) is relaly just for the sake of story execution. You need to have someone to talk to for any sort of dramatic effect.

"I never read it." Fantastic delivery, Alfre

if only they had kept the original ending (basically it ends as Jill walks out to the press, successfully pulling off her scheme and Sid is dead). Would've been a great kickstart to a new trilogy and new generation.

also his intense hatred of masks.

MIB's emphasis on the dollar amount killed me every time it was said.

The making of feature on Magnolia is even better than a standard commentary. Covers everything form development to its release.

You'd hope so but I know a lot of (mostly younger) people who don't really care about physically owning it.

That's my big criticism of digital ownership/streaming. People complain when a movie or show gets taken off Netflix or like with the original F4 movies, removed from any digital service entriely. You don't have control ove rthat. If they decide to take it down thats it. You're SOL. No one can take my DVD or blu-ray
