It's so formulaic. I can't stand watching any of those shows. Ferguson at least broke the fomrat somewhat with the lack of using pre-interview material.

Ooh the classic "I'm allowed my opinion" defense. When you have no other!
I find your doubling down on this depsite all the comments to be the most amazing part.
That's what I meant by "misses their point". It's supposed to be ridiculous AND it's made even more fun when you watch it in 2015. They had screenings on Oct 21st 2015. Embrace fun.
Yer,s it was enver firmly established in TOS what century they were in even.
OK, but TOS had no possible way of knowing that the show would still be watched past that decade, let alone the 90s and ealry 2000s. Also many of their predictions WERE outside of their lifetime. They were relaiviely old back then even.
And all of "Power Play"
"Is that a lot?"
^ Season 3.
Agreed. Stupid People magazine.
Agreed. Would've been fantastic to have suffered through (most) of that and continued on. Obviously some things wouldn't be able to happen and not be reset, but still.
Good points but the very idea of the character was Crosby's. She pitched it to the producers.
I got a notice that my keybopard batteries were low yesterday and said that line ^ :D
I REALLY wish they had ended it with Jill being carted out and the press snapping pics, asking her questions, essentially getting away with it. MAYBE have a post-credits sequence where Dewey says Syd *might* survive, end on Jill's reaction. Follow up movies could have been Jill, now famous, being stalked by a new…
They were cousins (moms were sisters).
The orignal movie's killer motive was NOT a Natural Born Killer's type. It was VERY personal and right in line with 2 and 3's personal connection to Sydney's mother.
The Gretchen vote is still one of the biggest gut-punches in the history of the show.
"however, it was impossible to comprehend just how brutal things would get. "
As long as Sonny is there, I'll be happy.
Same. I'm OK with Ed/Peggy not making it through but I wouldn't mind if they did. Lester though needed to FRY.
