Yeah, I think most hospitals have what are called (at least in Pennsylvania) "safe-haven zones." The hospital near my college had a bassinet by the entrance to the ER where you can leave your infant, no questions asked.

I don't know about that. I went to high school in a really affluent area and the kids there were into some REALLY shady shit. Lot of coke deals going down in the parking lot. I think they were just a lot better at getting away with it.

Yup. In college I developed a reaaaaal bad anxiety problem. This was about the only thing I did that made me feel human/normal/calm/etc. Everything else just caused more anxiety.

I can actually tell when my anxiety levels are high more from physical reactions than by what's going on in my own head. It's not my torso that shakes, it's my jaw. Like you said, it's almost like shivering.
