The Mary-Ann/Bailey Quarters/Annie Edison is created as the Jan Brady/Edith Crawley of the show, but the actor is so appealing that they transcend their station. Meg Griffin doesn't really apply since there is no Ginger/Jennifer Marlowe/Britta on Family Guy that was supposed to be the hot other.

Rick & Morty deserves a recommend (and repeat viewings).

It's uncensored on DVD if you can find it. It's much funnier that way. Broad City is also a must see if you're a Hannibal Buress fan. The corollary is, watching Broad City will make you a Hannibal Buress fan.

It's been mentioned a few times in the comments, but it bears repeating — Broad City. There are tons of great shows on Comedy Central (not just good — great), but the one that stays with me more than any of the others is Broad City. Honorable mention to You're the Worst, because I can't get enough of Aya Cash. I

I truly cannot imagine being bothered by a post on a topic you don't feel is worth being bothered about in the first place. By your standards, you are 100 times worse than me. Who cares indeed.

Alex is the Mary-Ann/Bailey Quarters/Annie Edison of the show.

"Big Tasty Pork. It's fried pork with regular pork on top"

I will hand wave the fact that Barry didn't simply disarm Oliver or pick him up and throw him into a wall at 600 mph was due to him subconsciously not wanting to hurt him. So maybe he was pulling his punches as well.

The most disappointing thing was Oliver brought up the fact that Barry could smartly use his super speed to canvas the area throughly before jumping into action (which he never does). I thought it would lead to Oliver showing Barry how to maximize the use of his super speed, and then nothing materialized from it. It

And yet other times when he runs in civvies, no issues. This is the problem for me — zero consistency. Whoever wrote these epsiodes wanted to play with the idea of friction, but it's totally counter to what's been established. Even in the same epiosde, Barry runs at super speed in his street clothes (training with

The consistency is the problem, not the physics as such. Like how The Flash carries dozens of people in previous episodes without incident, but the one time he carries Felicity, her shirt catches on fire.

I know about speed force. It's not about how fast The Flash is, but the inconsistency of how fast these scientists think he is. They should know he's capable of near light speed.

It takes a LOT of effort to overlook all of the insultingly stupid shit they pull every single episode. There is zero consistency with regard to the scope of his powers and they do jack shit to delve into the ramifications of his powers. In this single episode, The Flash is so fast the bullet looks like it's standing

For one thing, it's the highest rated show in Norway or somesuch, so there's an audience for it, Netflix or not. Also, it's very entertaining. Loved all three seasons.

I really want to like this show, and there are many things about this show I do like. But the pacing is so bad — something happens, and then it spins its wheels for 5 minutes, then something happens, then nothing for a stretch, etc. The show is mostly boring. And Zed — just not working for me.

It needed more Barry. Gags like "Barry the Grass King" are the reasons I will never stop watching this show.

If they didn't rely so much on the monster of the week, it might be better. But the real problem is that the TV is acting like it's a comic book from the 70's or 80's. Comic book writers have been deconstructing the form consistently since the 90's. That's why the show seems so lazy and stupid.

I bet the writers will create a hostage situation someone is holding a knife to a hostage's throat and Barry will unmask himself so no one gets hurt. Because that's exactly as stupid as everything else they write. Although this was essentially something that happened in the second episode.

Misfits was never really the same after Sheehan left, but even the last three seasons were better than any season of Smallville and any episode of The Flash thus far. Even with all of its missteps The Flash is tracking better than Smallville, but it's just as dumb.

I kind of glossed over the part where Iris and Barry have zero chemistry until the Felicity visit. Post-Smoak, it's quite irritating to listen to Barry pine over Iris when they have zero chemistry. Even worse, it's tied into a recurring subplot, so they have to revisit it week after week. What a chore to sit through.
