I think it's impossible to watch her sing Chandelier in episode 10 an not fall madly in love with her.

I too always feel this twinge of sadness whenever someone mentions Selfie. Taken from us too soon.

I like to think my suggestion in the comments section last year about an episode about the Columbia Record & Tape Club was the inspiration for last night's episode.

The delivery of "yipee" had me laughing out loud on the train. I think I snorted a little too. The jokes that are all delivery are typically for Troy Gentile, but Sam G made that one gold.

This line made me laugh out loud while watching it in the train, which is why I always try to sit next to people wearing headphones. I don't think the guy next to me heard me, but I'm pretty sure other passengers heard me.

He reads EVERYTHING. You probably drove him away in tears, big meanie.

I loved Selfie more than Suburgatory, and I LOVED Suburgatory.

Clearly, Stripes deserves its own episode.

The Runaway Bunny reference at the beginning of The Goldbergs killed me.

I watched Goldbergs and Fresh Off the Boat back to back and noticed they both used the same music cue (Alive and Kicking by Simple Minds).

Judy Greer and Jenny Slate are mostly why I continue to watch this show (most of the remainder is due to Brad Gelman). I've always loved Judy Greer, but has she ever been in anything truly great other than a recurring role as Kitty on AD (and voice acting in Archer doesn't do it for me)? I'd love to see her in

The Prestige is really a sci-fi flick with a great ending whereas The Illusionist is so conventional I don't actually remember what happened. And I saw that one first, so it's not like I was hating because it wasn't as good as The Prestige.

Anyone remember when Hold On by Wilson Philips and Hold On by En Vogue were top ten hits in the same week?

Whenever I see the movie Paradise either on a TV listing or on as a streaming choice, I immediately think it's the Phoebe Cates/Willie Ames Blue Lagoon copycat that never got a proper DVD release in the US. Alas, it's always the Don Johnson/Melanie Griffith remake of Le Grand Chemin. Always.

Hayley was on the first season of the US X Factor in the girl group. So that's all her singing. I assume.

It's impressive that they could get all of those actors in the same episode plus the ever present Patton Oswalt.

I remember the reviews for the pilot. Lot of complaints about the yelling and general loudness and, by the way, don't worry because it'll be canceled soon.

Don't forget Julia Louis Dreyfus, and I also want to add I love Jenny Slate so much.

Now that the Goldbergs have two CD players, I'm eagerly awaiting an episode based on the Columbia House Record & Tape Club. Barry (or Adam, but I'd prefer Barry) scamming free CDs with Murray getting the bills would be EPIC.

That was one of the rationales for longboxes — harder to shoplift and a place to put anti-theft tags. By the time the 90's kids were shoplifting, the industry shifted to naked jewel cases.
