Progressive??!?! She sold uranium to the Russians!!!

I have no trouble remembering Benghazi at all.

Was he using an iPhone? Because I would bet that iPhones know how to correct ANY misspelling of misogynistic….

Okay, it wasn't me, but I do admit smiling at this (then fixing it right away): at a bookstore I used to work in, some joker put the "Women's Studies" card over the cookbook section…

I thought it was a comfy place to sit while fishing.

I'm older than that, and the other day was looking for the bag of potato chips I knew I'd put in the cupboard where they belong. They were not there, no one else in the house eats potato chips, what could have happened?
Okay, yes, I'd put them in the fridge the day before.
But cold potato chips are surprisingly

My favorite part about La Bamba was the several dozen times Richie Valens said he was a star, and "stars don't fall out of the sky!"
Maybe it was one time. Anyway then every other character said "oh, yes, they do, you're Richie Valens and you're going to die in a plane crash, we all know it!"
I only saw the movie once,

I would love a movie wherein NYC was the main character, and then halfway through the city had lines to speak. And wouldn't shut up.

I had a weird wires-crossed thing with netflix a few years ago. I was in Indonesia, accessing U.S Netflix through a VPN. Better Call Saul had just shown up, I watched a few eps, then the next day it was gone, along with other new shows I had noticed. I don't know if I accidentally logged into some other country's

That was the one. Similarly, I find Kevin Costner's best role to be the one he had in The Big Chill.
(The GIft was a good movie though - Billy Bob Thornton wrote it and Cate Blanchett was in it. And as I recall Keanu wasn't too bad for a change.)

Too lazy to look it up, but there were a couple of tv movies, or maybe a series, of Animorphs. I don't know when they ran or who did them, but my kids, when they were reading the books, used to check out the VHS tapes from the library.

She's not only a real person but she won the Newbery in 2013 for The One and Only Ivan. (As Katherine Applegate.) She did take some help in the later Animorphs books, but I think she honestly didn't think the demand would have kept up that long, and she WAS writing other stuff….

I fall into the category of "never able to resist checking out the flip-book art - kid into wolf, kid into bird, kid into anteater…."

She really was horrible in Batman Begins. Almost Sofia Coppola in Godfather 3 level bad. I had never seen Holmes before, except in that psychic movie where I'm pretty sure she played a corpse…

That was the eventual mother, right? She was great. I remember wishing she'd been the focus of the show the whole time - much more charming than the actual lead. Than any of them, really.

I think it should the remake should be like the old one, but with Lannisters.

I know you're not me, because I was older (about 12) but me too: the only pro basketball I've ever seen was the Globetrotters. It was amazing, of course — best sporting event, and among the best entertainment events, that I've ever seen in my life.

Far be it from me to judge a toy/cash grab from just one picture but that thing doesn't look realistic. I mean it doesn't look alive the way Ewoks sort of did.
And I really hated Ewoks.

When they did a director's cut of Blood Simple it came out two minutes shorter than the original.
