Unless the story was edited, I don't see where they said they're a new thing. In fact, they reference mimics wikipage (as a D&D monster) and mention liking them more in other games where they are less "realistic" looking which clearly means the author is aware that they're not new.

Though I only follow Major Nelson and not someone from the PS side of things, I kept seeing a lot of "back in stock" links implying that they would sell out, but keep getting more. It could be that its not selling as well, it could be that they simply have more produced...I think we need sales numbers and not stock

I know, as all my stuffs with Microsoft (win 8, wp8, xbox) but wasn't trying to full lean that way with the article could be since some people are still stuck in the 90's, or in the case of IE, 2001.

Attempted Mustard Green Beans but noticed at the last minute that it was ground mustard and not some form of mustard powder/whole grain mustard. Attempted a substitution and it failed horribly. Never again.

Wifes worst would be some veggie burgers made with chick peas that ended up too soggy with terrible taste,

Now we need a second article of "Don't want to use G+/Fed up with Google? Here's the best alternative sources". It's likely one exists and may just need a new coat of paint.

The only one thats a stickler is Youtube really...free cloud storage (drive) is anywhere these days, as well as photo services. Document editing

Hey, thats wider than what's on my Mustang...which is still using 10 holes (near stock foxbody).

Mind you, my Fusion has 235's for a stock tire size, so there goes that line of thinking.

No way to set it up similar to Skydrive in Win 8 where it saves just metadata (or something along those lines) but the actual file content is saved remotely? Now, I can still delete my remote files just like a local file and as easily, but I don't worry about the hdd space lost since i'm not storing the full files

What are both your cats doing on my desk?!

kinda my issue too, I don't buy as many games because i've already bought most of what i'll play and quite a few I won't.

Plus we just had a sale end because it was tied to the late American thanksgiving.

Part of it might be the same issue I have with the 2013 Fusion...at least in part. My A pillars from the inside seem huge when you're trying to look while turning I find myself moving my head/body around at times to see around them to watch for pedestrians in parking lots. Probably as large as they are for roof crush

As someone who had the ultimate misfortune of miscalculating a parking spot a few months ago...it makes a heck of a difference to see nothing off of my older grand prix at the time and peeled every bit of it in the small area I touched on the Accent. It was a light enough scrape that there was no visible damage below

Sometimes in the summer, the ice melts a bit on the west coast, that counts right?

Somewhere else in the comments here is a link noting he's got a 360 and will likely own a one (older link).

Cause you know, it sounds like he's a gamer, not a blind fanboy (and to think, he's the one actually being paid by Sony.)

Hate tends to beget more hate. His original statement that started this was not intended with malice. The response he got was full of it and then the cycle continued until someone took the time to break it. Now, that said, he has said he will continue to try to not take the same reaction to an assault like that as he

Part of it is actually death threats...you know, because the best way to get someone to listen to your side of the issues in that their ignorance has harmed them is to threaten them/their family/friends. When things went down, there was all sorts of hate and insults when the proper approach to dealing with Mike was

The issue is not with the words free to play itself, but the ellipsis prior to the words in it in the headline does lend itself to making it negative or more negative than f2p alone. Hence why I specifically included them in my quote.

You talk about reading comprehension, but you did miss that aspect of HOW things

Agreed on the agree to disagree. I don't appreciate how he worded the article. I'm on the outside of the core gamer group where I support good f2p and I've probably been gaming longer than some of the people complaining :P

and its sad how pandering works, but, I know why sites do it (pageviews, which feeds into

I dunno, I don't think one would slam the author as long as it was still in the article, there would still be complaints in the comments about f2p as well as talk of hopes raised by the headline and dashed by seeing its f2p, but i think hate would be directed at Disney over that rather than the author.

but but...I want a TIE Fighter, my teenage years yearns for it.

Though starfighters still pretty awesome and scratches the same sorta itch.

I disagree, sure, a lot of people will still view it negatively, but a completely different tone can still be used in the article.
