Plus, Treinen is having a lights out season, as well, on a team that also desperately needs his contributions. It won’t go to a closer when there are Sale’s and Bauer’s pitching the way they are.

Just the author of the article.
Hopefully this comment takes off.
Not that I’m losing sleep over it, but First Class has some serious plot holes. Why did Mystique need that cure again? So that she could pass for normal? She already had that covered, I think.
@catlady ... get a cat diffuser. It really helps calm them down. If that doesn’t work...
I am over it. I was never not over it. I just don’t get why 95% of the time this site is like “CAUTION!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!” and the other 5% they are like fuck you heres a spoiler on the front page. It’s inconsistent. Again, I don’t care. It doesn’t ruin the movie for me in any discernible way. I just think it’s…
The spoiler is on the front page. You didn’t need to follow any links. Whatever, I really don’t care, I just think it’s lazy and inconsistent. I’m still gonna see the movie and don’t care one way or the other, but the site goes to great lengths 95% of the time to issue spoiler warnings and then sometimes is just like,…
What is the rule/standard for spoilers on this site? I know the movie came out like ten days ago, but not everyone has the ability to drop what they’re doing and go see a movie right when it comes out. For the most part, the authors here do an excellent job posting spoiler warnings and it’s very easy to avoid them.
This is so good.
It’s really not fair to say this though. Yes, he’s working on ten different projects at once, but the dude CONSTANTLY publishes and moved on to the next thing. His website had effing status bars about where he is with everything he’s currently working on. And a lot of the other stuff he writes is connected to this…
Absolutely, yes. You should also be aware though *extremely Brandon Sanderson nerd voice* that the Stormlight books all fit into a larger universe (the Cosmere) which comprise a significant portion of Sanderson’s other past and future works (Mostborn Trilogies, Warbreaker, Elantris, etc etc etc). You don’t need to…
The Astros lost app. 150 more games than the Dodgers over that time frame. Whatever, it isn’t what it is, and the Astros are in a great position, but it took some brutal seasons to get there. There’s nothing wrong with spending money and fielding a good team.
They didn’t tho... their payroll is so low bc they have so many rookies and they have so many rookies that are superstars bc they tanked for ~6 seasons. Yea, the Dodgers spent more money, but that’s not really the whole story.
The Astros lost 100+ games each season from 2011-2013. They were under .500 in 2009, 2010, and 2014, as well. Their payroll is so small bc they lost for so long that they stockpiled a (gloriously) capable farm system. It’s certainly one way to win... the Cubs did something similar. Don’t kid yourself that it’s more…
Ugh... I hadn’t thought of that.
I mean, Gardner is making $13 bills, but yes, a lot of their best contributors are their youngest guys.
Yea. He’s absolutely worth a long listen. Gifted song writer and musician. The most recent album (the Nashville Sound) is his best / most accessible yet. Anyway, hope you like.
Posted elsewhere, but have you listened to ‘Chaos and Clothes’ by Jason Isbell yet? He wrote it about their relationship.
Anyone who hasn’t listens to Jason Isbell’s fantastic new album, The Nashville Sound, should stop what they’re doing right now and give it a whirl. But one song on the album, Chaos and Clothes, is a song Isbell wrote for Ryan Adams about his divorce. I believe they are close bc Ryan helped get Jason into rehab years…
This headline sucks. No one cares about the league specific records, and the MLB record is either 21 or 26, so this isn’t a record-breaking win. Unless you’re talking about the AL record, which no one cares about.
