Seeing as I will likely never be able to afford more than a used 911 I look at the Veyron the same way as every other car I can’t afford, based on what the car does. What it does is pretty cool if you ignore its overplayed-ness, and the price tag, and that’s coming from a person not in high-school.
Was thinking the same thing. Bouyant but still held to fueselage by metal structure, tangled by wires, jammed into a crevasse. Then pops up when dislodged.
That was my first trip to vir and was amazed. Great photos, realy do justice to the beauty of the track.
Your not the only one annoyed lol. The clutches are lasting maybe 5-10k before they need to be replaced or cleaned to last another 5-10k I guess to be repeated indefinitely until they figure it out or the warranty ends.
What every you do avoid stop and go in that car. Ford really hasnt figured out that double clutch set up yet and they are getting replaced left and right here in the Baltimore/DC area.
Granted any gt will make everyone’s day but the Heritage Edition is that little extra.
Yeah I loved it when it was World Challenge and Tran-Am. Memorial Day weekend made the most sense at LRP since no Sunday racing (so usually kick ass car show) then the big races on Monday when every one has off any way.
I miss Memorial Day weekend at lime rock.
Boss 302s
While I was reading I was thinks the same thing.
I know it doesn’t need to be said Corvette C6.R.
Any event at LRP. It's always beatiful and is my favorite track to spectate as it's easy to walk around and take it all in.
Since when dose Indy do this much live streaming?
I think he was also in its always sunny in Philadelphia a couple of episodes as a lawyer.
Sure because you know alternators never fail out of the box when exposed to actual driving loads/conditions they wouldn’t experiance sitting idling in a techs stall. I guess that air pocket in the cooling system that will leave the cooling system low on coolant once it works it’s way out of the heater core isn’t…
So you wouldn’t want the mechanic to verify the repair? The dealership I work for requires us to test drive vehicles before and after repairs as there are things you may notice on the initial test dive that may not be apparent during a visual inspection.
Just an fyi as a mechanic I’ve taken plenty of customers vehicles to get lunch and was never just because or a joy ride but killing two birds with one stone so I have more time to work on said car, if it was a diagnostic test drive (which could also be aided by having an extra set of ears/eyes), or if it was post…
I’m sure they have thought a way out of this but,
Ok so it’s the same thing just made by some one else and hopefully stronger. I still think the ptu is going to be the weak point in the drivetrain.
